Harrison Ford used that phrase once. Is he from Kentucky?

I bought some black gloss to paint some stuff for my bike, I've used the same paint before and it was great, but they have changed the ingredients and made it low-emission. I'm all for the environment but when gloss pain washes off in water and won't coat metal properly when it says it can on the tin there is a problem, I'd rather use the old High-Emission paint and it actually stick to the surface than this shit. It's really runny too, it used to be really thick before making it much easier to cover the surface.

If there's false advertising like that on the label, you can probably call them up about it and they'll send you free stuff to keep you quiet

Apparently he was born in Chicago...but he is a country boy at heart (apparently). I think I remember hearing that he flies the only helicopter in his county and lets the sheriff department use it (for rescues).
I've only heard the expression in Kentucky...but Kentucky is good ol southern country...

Of course, if Ford used it in a movie...well, that is out.

Haha. That is a great clip...

He always seems like the good ol' country boy, despite being born in Chicago (the antithesis of good ol' country anything).

The country is bollocks!

Because I've lived my whole life in the suburbs of shitty urban areas...I'd much prefer the country. I'd like to be able to go out at night and see the stars rather than homeless people.

Just wait until you meet rednecks from hell.

Haha. I live in an apartment complex where I'm pretty sure no one speaks English (as a first language or even if they did, it isn't usually intelligible) That is unfair, there are some intelligent people in this complex, but, damn...they are few and far in between. Rednecks you expect to be stupid and such but suburban/urban dwellers who are under educated are just self-righteous, loud, obnoxious, idiots...

Also, in the country, you don't have to see your neighbors; here I have to deal with these people as often as I ride the bus...which is pretty much every day.

So is this where everyone hangs out now, or is everyone over at Gearbox?

I don't know who "everyone" is but I know people who hate Gearbox are here and people who hate here are somewhere else.

So, since I don't hate Gearbox I have to go someplace else, because here is where the haters are, and so not to be hated myself by the haters, I can not not hate gearbox. I think I'm getting a headache trying to figure this out.

Well, the people who are not happy with Gearbox are exclusively posting here (as in, exclusive to Gearbox) and there is a contingent of the (Duke Nukem fan) "community" who thinks that they are better than Duke4.net so they don't post here (although, apparently they lurk and then bitch and moan about stuff that gets posted here).

Since I'm a bit misanthropic, I post wherever the hell I damn well please.

Also, lol to whoever changed my title.

This is true. They're pathetic and take the online world too seriously.

A sombrero, winter jacket, and clown shoes.

Yeah.

...I'm confused now...I can't imagine that outfit at all. Clown shoes don't go with sombreros. Don't even get me started on the winter jacket.

Who wants to grow up? Read your newspaper and listen to talk radio and discuss important world issues and go to cocktail parties and impress your peers with your toys while jazz plays softly in the background. The elite, the in crowd, wow, a donation please for a worthy cause, we owe the public, don't you know, and please Sir, we have another drive Monday at three.

What am I listening now? Slipknot – Surfacing. Fits. I don't fit in, donn wanna –

Probably the wrong thread, but I don't care because personally, I'll take the grown up stuff minus the golf...mostly because cocktail parties involve booze.

A traitor is a person who commits treason by betraying his or her country.
The umlaut eh is used most frequently in Canada.
A girl is a feminine homo sapient in stockings.
Coming here empty and going filled.

I'll have you know that anyone who comes here does not, in fact, leave filled....they often leave quite empty from all the coming they did while here.
