Same goes for:

-People who walk slowly and text.
-People who walk slowly and talk on the phone.
-People who treat a two way sidewalk like a one way street for them and all their friends.
-People who swerve left and right and don't let faster walkers by.
-People who tut/tsk at me when I try to go around them for walking slow or walk on the wrong side of the sidewalk.
-People who walk on the left side of the sidewalk.

Now replace walk with drive and sidewalk with highway

Don't you have a 2500 6.0L? .. put a plow on the front and foot to floor, haha.
Chevs/Gms are bad for breaking frames with plow use though.(I'm a Ford guy :))

Bitch why yo ass in such a hurry?

Edit: I actually learned the hard way (on the D.C. Metro specifically) that there is such a thing as escalator etiquette.

I think it's a curse I first picked up when delivering flyers. I walk at a speed of 6 km/h. I timed it, and it takes me roughly 25 minutes to walk 3 kilometers.

These people who walk and text, etc, are walking at 2 km/h or less.

Maybe I'm walking the normal speed and they're the granny who's doing 30 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. I have no idea. Perhaps it's because taller people walk faster, even though a shorter person moves their legs at the same pace as the taller guy.

That's about the speed they drive in the fast lane too.

Dovetail Games Flight School releases at around 6 PM MST or 12 AM GMT I believe.

Good thing it's developed in the UK, so I don't have to wait until tomorrow to use it.

Although I'm waiting for the full Flight Simulator game releasing late this year, this will tide me over.

It's based on FSX (not MS Flight), as Microsoft sold the consumer version to Dovetail to further develop and the commercial version to Lockheed Martin (Prepar3D)

The Flight engine had more advanced stuff in it, but a lot of things were cut out to make it more streamlined, so Dovetail opted for the FSX engine, which gives you a full non-arcadey experience.

Trying out Firefox's multiprocess architecture. Seems decent so far. Not like Chrome's where it has tons of processes running though.

browser.tabs.remote.autostart true
browser.tabs.remote.force-enable true

Any explanations for the settings, what does remote stand for, etc.

No idea, but that's how you enable multiprocess Firefox.

Just been reinstalling some games after doing a fresh Windows install and thought I'd see if my Prey retail copy would activate on Steam, and to my surprise it was on the list of accepted games. Unfortunately my retail copy of FEAR isn't one of them. :)

That's not usual retail key behaviour. Prey retail keys redeem on Steam because it used to be on Triton. When Triton went kaput they decided to allow redemption of all Prey keys on Steam as a compromise. Prey and the retail HL1 games are the only ones I know of that are redeemable on Steam, though I'm sure there are others. But Prey was a special case for sure.

There's quite a few here and there. If you add your Supreme Commander key, you get both it and the expansion for some reason. Some obvious ones like SiN Episodes, too (and you get the original game and the expansion for free).

I know when GFWL shut down a while back that some games were converted to steamworks titles, like Batman Arkham Asylum (which I had to email WB in order to get a compatible key to activate) and Batman Arkham City (which worked straight away). Some like Gears of War haven't been converted though and it really is up to the discretion of each publisher and why they might convert a game or not. You are right of course that it's not usual retail key behaviour to allow them to be redeemed on Steam, and Prey was one of those special cases where they were able to accommodate people on it. My retail copy of FEAR still works of course, I just thought it would have been cool to have all three games neatly together on Steam is all I was getting at. :)

Edit: On a side note, I did think it was neat that my retail copy of Stalker was able to be added to my Library on GOG. :D

So this guy that murdered five people where I live was found not criminally responsible.

Unlike James Holmes, who received a life sentence without parole.

The Not Criminally Responsible verdict isn't used here that much, but they deemed this guy fit the description. Kind of sad though, because he was ready to go to law school before this happened a few years ago.

I went to an Elton John gig. On the last third of the show, they allowed people to come near the stage. Then John came and started signing CDs and records which people brought to the gig. I own a couple of EJ records, but I didn't bring any to the show, because I wasn't even expecting to be allowed to come near the stage, let alone get my recods signed. I don't think he will ever come again to Russia. I feel destroyed.

Copied from PM.

It was great! Great tracklist, tight band. Although some of the songs were too loud, for example Goodbye Yellow Brick Road had annoying loud percussion, which killed part of the songs charm. And of course, Elton's voice just isn't what it used to be, but I was still impressed. Just wish I brought my copy of 2 ▽ 4 0 for him to sign.

I don't go to many concerts at all, but I noticed the music seeming too loud sometimes also... I wonder if it is just poor audio engineering sometimes, but I more suspect it is something they do to cover aging voices, or maybe lower quality live performance. Until he really started to age, Elton John sounded the same live in my opinion. :)
