2015 was a shit year, both for me personally, and on a global scale. We went far behind on many fronts; socially, politically, and just overall. The crybully culture is gaining power and getting out of hand, we've faced more censorship this year than we have in a long time, there's plenty of civil unrest, we have complete retards in positions of power, and I have a feeling with all the violence that went on (and is still going on), we're on the verge of yet another war.
My betting is 2016 is only going to be worse. A LOT worse. Debating on not letting myself live to see it. Can't really take much more of this shit, really.

Whatever though... at least it has always worked this way throughout history. Rise, fall, rise fall etc. It is actually more simple on a global scale... the further human beings get from "surviving", taking car of themselves, being self sufficient, the worse things get for productive people. Dependency allows abuse and corruption. Most people could never have earned what they have... what they have is obtained for them by a system/government and taken from productive people. I am not talking about shared technology at all... I am talking about dependency. If you don't want to "pay for the other guy" (which is NOT like helping them) then we have to take care of ourselves, which most people don't want to hear. Until some uncorruptable aliens come to manage us, we will continue to find that humans are not capable of it. I like what was done with the US when it was formed... but they TYPE of people who formed it are too far outnumbered to keep it working. Foxes can only guard hen-houses for so long, then they take from it.
I am glad I got to live in the middle part... you know, between forming (where much blood is shed, AND you still have to be self sufficient) and the falling (where much blood is shed, and you STILL have to be self sufficient) I got a great house with electricity, contacts, band-aids, more games than I can play before I die of old age, all the food I can eat, a vehicle so I can go where I want and do many things... but most of all, a sense that I have earned what I have with nothing more than work and good decisions and little luck. Of course it will collapse eventually, and I know that many taxes are in fact theft, but I also don't believe I can change that... but I have enjoyed a lot about this life. I guess if you haven't had to survive, you won't be able to view things as I do, and I don't expect anyone to really. So to each his own, and I hope your view of life could appear more like mine, as it actually is relative.

Strange things are afoot.
More keeps changing with the mandela effect bearshit.
Ah well, truth is relative too.

I accept that "you can't go back" if you know or can perceive how things "should be".
I am not really even disagreeing with your statement in the sense that I believe I understand why you view life as you described... sometimes I see it that way.

If the world is in bad shape it's not your fault. I mean I told someone that I wasn't personally responsible for causing the oil price to drop and for everyone to lose their jobs. Or the financial recession back in 2008 or so. I've always been good with my money and tried to live within my means, but some people lived the high life even though they couldn't afford to. And we all paid the price for their lack of basic money skills they were taught when they were in elementary school. Of course this was in a public place, so people heard me, and started giving me dirty looks. I'm not some robot, I have feelings and emotions and I don't stuff everything inside like some passive-aggressive who's too afraid to express themselves. If I want to express myself, I will do so, and to hell with what other people think.
I've been out of work for almost a year, but I try to do things that will eventually land me a good job. In addition to keeping my spirits up. If I stay inside a lot, I guess I might not feel as well, so I try to get out every day. I volunteer at a non-profit organization once or twice a week, depending on how much work they have.

Too much time focusing on the negatives. Not really that hard to do since the media exploits doom & gloom to garner ratings.
The positive is out there, you just need to look for it from other sources outside normal outlets - because 'happy' stuff isn't news-worthy.

He's a very picky person about everything. He absolutely loves Guardians of the Galaxy (literally watches it every single week because its free on his TV service) but thought Fury Road was just alright (which is the equivalent of a 4/5) and absolutely hated Avengers Age of Ultron, but liked the first one.
I'm curious as to how he will like it or not, especially since I've read all the spoilers.

Edit: Hooked my computer into the cable box downstairs, which acts like a modem too, so my speeds are a lot faster and there's no DCs or lag in games.

We went and saw it; he said it was 'alright' (again, a 4/5 from him)
I also learned a new fact; he really likes the Kung Fu Panda movies

Sadly this is what people don't get, if you have enough Muslims together so that they out number the other groups they inevitably want to live in a theocracy, which means doom for anyone not in the club. People don't want to believe this because they they can't accept that Islam is rotten as it interferes with their regressive left agenda. Muslims need to be freed from Islam sadly only they can do this themselves but it's hard as the level of brain washing done to them from an early age allows for a massive dose of cognitive dissidence to take hold whenever logic rears it's head.
I'm allowed to not like Nazis but I'm not allowed to not like Islam. I must be tolerant of intolerance. Sigh.

I read about this too. I'm not sure what to say. I'm sure this is complicated and hope the authorities do whatever is the best thing so didn't say anything then the mayor of Cologne opened her mouth. Women and girls need to develop a code of conduct? Talk about blame the victim! I calmed down and the red mist cleared when I read on. She says there needs to be a proper understanding of expressions of happiness versus openness, especially of the S thing.
I sincerely hope this is nothing more than a flash mob which got out of hand. I've read about Middle East attitudes to women. A friend also said Japanese men behaved appallingly around women when abroad. Another friend told me how Eastern European immigrants were awestruck when they entered a supermarket. I guess, maybe, this may help explain things. They may not be used to Western lifestyles?
I don't know many Muslim people. Maybe I am lucky but the Muslim people I do know are okay.
