time of possession: Germany 64%, Argentina 36%
shots(on goal): Germany 10(5), Argentina 10(0)
considering the lopsided time of possession, it was still a pretty tight game

Yep, plus my bro says they came a long way from 2000.
I prefer the cup to be on the Americas, but the better team won.

p.s. Neuer did get the ball, brutally, yes, but it's the World Cup, huge

The play in the extra time where the German took a fist to the face (and started bleeding) was of the same type of incident: Shit happens, man.

Well done Germany.

Remember Aregntina's fouls ... they normally had to finish the match with 10 players if rules had been enforced properly.

But unlike south americans (soccer players) who are known for crying and falling down after the slightest streak by a feather, Schweinsteiger got up after being fouled, punched in the face, etc ... he finished the match. Testosterone > tears.

All in all a great final, the Germans deserved it, especially after the drumming they gave Brazil.

You´re obviously not being objective. Argentina wasn´t on their knees at all, the game could have ended up in a draw or in any other way. I don´t take credit away to Germany, which was the best team of the worldcup. But that superiority wasn´t evident in that game, "we" were not Brazil. I understand the stockholm syndrome most vicious Brazil fans have developed with Germany. That IS being on knees. About the fouls, I havent checked the stats of the game, but you ought to be wrong. And I didn´t see Higuain crying or lying on the floor after being hit with a kung-fu knee directly to the face. Exagerating fouls is something all players of the world do -eheem Robben- I don´t like it either but it´s been like that for decades.
