True, but not everybody enjoys bronies. I imagine they'd be posting it just to spite you.

Haven't actually declared a new years resolution yet. Not sure what it would be.

Went to a speeddate evening yesterday. Was fun, but the women I met were a bit too old for me I think (the event was for ages 22-30 and the ladies I spoke to were all 26/27 years old). I felt obligated to indicate a few names of who I was interested in and turns out I do match with 2 people but... I feel no specific desire to contact and date them. So, maybe I shouldn't.

I don't see why you wouldn't. Older women (for the most part) are mature and stable compared to what you've been putting yourself through in the past. They've also more experience in the sack and are willing to do nastier things than their younger counterparts in order to get and keep a man. That diaper fetish you've been harboring for years will finally come to fruition with a willing partner.

Yeah, but I just didn't particularily "click" with anyone, maybe in part due to the age difference... and it would feel like an obligation to date them which kind of makes me less willing to do it. I get what you're saying though.

Diaper fetish? Go for the old broads. They give good gummers too.

But I get what Sang is saying. He doesn't want to date just for the sake of dating. He wants to connect with someone.

I want to hear, from an actual brony, what bronies are about. Is it like, the over-masculinity of being a man coupled with the over-bearing cutesy (uh) of...ponies? It's just something I don't really understand.

Is it like the colours, the art style, what exactly attracts bronies to the show/characters/ilk?

Good luck finding one. My brother ran into one in his college programming class.

That's one of those things where there are like three of them in the world, they just never shut the fuck up on The Internet.

Right, and if you're above losers, you generally don't hang around them. Doesn't matter what makes them losers. Usually, it's drugs.

The canon was the final nail for me. Before I even started watching the episodes, just a bit of research made me realize that this show is insanely deep and complex for a kid's series. It's seriously on par with the complexity and thoroughness of LOTR (and I mean the original books, including The Silmarillion).

The ponies are adorable, the animation is smooth, and the voice acting is great. The series' mix of normal earth pony routine along with trippy magic and fantasy elements has brought this style of psychedelic art to a level I've never seen executed so well.

Oh come on. That's not much of a difference.

P.S. I'm old... :D
