Regarding the rule changes etc:
I suppose it depends on how you look at the forum ruling class. Is this a republic where there is veto power in the lower levels? If so, then the rule changes are not something you can do anything about since you were vetoed by a moderator/administrator. However, if you look at this like a dictatorship where you, being the person with the most stake in the forum (as founder and such), take into consideration the opinions of your lower leaders but make the final decision.
Of course, you can't vote on this because that would defeat the purpose of the whole thing. You have to be the decider, Yatta. Make a decision. Grow some balls.

This is actually how it should work, except that "most stake in the forum" should actually be measured by how much money one person has donated.

You just combine all donations into one large number, then determine which person has supplied which % of that sum, which will then tell you how much their vote counts in a voting system.

For example, in a normal poll on this forum, if one user votes Yes and one votes No, both would say "50% voted this". Let's say that one of these users has a more valuable opinion (because of a larger donation).. then it could be 75% voted yes, 25% voted no.

The issue with this is of course that a huge asshole could make a very very large donation and fuck the site up, but I don't think anyone rich enough for that would bother with that

This is partly why I'm personally against the idea of "stock ownership" for the website. The website looks and operates as well as it does not because of the direct input of donors, but by that of the original founders.

I'd personally prefer nude content that's NSFW to be in specific designated threads only. Having a pic or two in random places would be a contamination that would not help the community.

This was my original point earlier in this thread when Yatta posted a nude. Keep it in one place and people who don't want to see it just don't go there. It really is simple.

This is a video game forum not a big tit forum. Do you want people to get frustrated with the bullshit and move to a different forum? TX for example? Where TX and his friends go a lot of people will probably follow. Not that I see that happening anytime soon because Yatta seems to be putting the interests of the forum ahead of his own preferences.

Perhaps a NSFW dedicated board would be a good idea... The main idea with Duke4.net in the beginning, was that it's a website for adults, and anything adult should be allowed, but i see that obviouslyeven adults can be offended or get an unpleasant surprise when there are tits showing up by random, and it makes the forum less usable at works places/school etc...

I still think nudity should be allowed on the forum to a certain extend, but not as freely used anywhere as it used to be...

I think you guys don't really get what TX is saying - Even if it is in just one thread or even one forum it's still part of the site.. and because TX is (I guess?) partially an owner (because of donations?) Google might decide to ban him off of AdBlock. This would mean that some of his other sites would no longer generate any income.

I don't know if that would really happen but that seems to be his point.
