I'm not grossed out by too many things. That picture wasn't too bad. I guess all these years of watching shows featuring autopsies (eg. X-Files, Fringe) and such I got sort of used to gross stuff.

I've decided that I'm going to become an undocumented resident of the US. I'm not registering the vote. I will notify the last state I registered in that I no longer live there. I will just not exist except in the eyes of the federal government until I buy a house and stop moving.

I'm really just angry that my last place of employment (where I did my Masters degree) fucked up my taxes for the last 3 years because they decided I lived with my parents 900 miles away. Every single address in their system except maybe the first two addresses they had for me (which I replaced as soon as I was able) was where I was living (not my parents' place). They fucked up my taxes so I didn't file state taxes and now I'm being asked for a shit ton of money.

What makes it shitty, of course, is that they say they sent me an earlier notice in their first notice. It also adds when the letter I get has "Very Truly Yours," and no signature, just the corporate entity that is trying to get money from me and make vague threats.

if they were contracted to do it or had a disclaimer that any mistakes were their responsibility - get a tax attorney and lawyer up.
