Christians don't preform circumcision. If they do, they need to read their own book. I've read enough of Paul's epistles to understand that circumcision was deemed useless after Jesus was crucified.

But I'm sure Mr. Fibble can make a huge post about how I'm completely wrong. He'll be sure not to back it up with a single Bible verse.

Yes, circumcision was made part of Victorian European culture in order to stem masturbation but their faulty science that the foreskin is somehow the most sensitive and sensual part of the male body is just blatantly wrong. It is just a hunk of skin that, at times, can block the urethra causing significant pain. Other doctors and scientists will say that under the foreskin is more sensitive. Since there is only one way a man can go to test this, I'm not sure anyone has run a truly viable study on the topic.

Although Galatians 5:6 is a pretty strong statement when ripped out of historical, cultural, and textual context (as you former Evangelicals now Atheists are wont to do) Romans 2:25-3:2 offers a balanced view and presents circumcisions as a mark that is not necessary (because we have a new covenant with God through Christ) but it is not something to be outright dismissed either. Romans 3:29-31 is pretty clear: Redemption by faith through Christ does not annul the law of circumcision or make it worthless. In Galatians Paul is dealing with a specific crisis of faith and opposing preachers who want everyone to be circumcised. Paul, in his egalitarian and well educated fashion, rejects the notions of all or nothing and embraces "both and" if you read his entire corpus rather than a few select verses.

I followed that link, it states that (pathological) phimosis is a rare condition that is treatable with nonsurgical methods, depending on the acuteness of the situation; it is baffling to me how you go from that to making the general statement on circumcision that "medical science supports the procedure and history tells us that your "struggle" is not something anyone should listen to".
As far as I'm concerned, circumcision performed on non-adult subjects and not based on medical necessity should be outlawed as it is a form of mutilation forced on those that lack the power and authority to decide how their bodies should be treated.

Sorry, but saying that the circumcision ritual started as a medical procedure sounds like saying that cannibalism rituals started as a treatment for people with low red blood cells.

"Medical science" doesn't support circumcision. Hospitals often promote circumcision because it's a 400 million industry, used for drugs, skin grafts and cosmetics. But that has nothing to do with real science, which doesn't promote mutilation as a menas of prevention. Especially considering there are non-invasive ways to treat phimoshis.
