At this restaurant my brother worked at around 10 years ago, they had this thing called the wall of fire where people could try out different hot sauces and such.

Put up some shelves the other day and put a portion of my game collection up on them:

I remember the days of those huge boxes they had packaged games in. How times have changed.

Thanks! I'm pretty proud of it. Later on I'm going to sort the contents of the two bookcases I have full of additional boxed games so I can take pictures of those too. I buy and sell them, and just about everything on the wall shelves is the stuff I've come across and decided to keep for myself. My bedroom is starting to look like Joe's office at 3DR did...

I was just browsing the site and the name jumped out at me.

I knew it wasn't Cody but I still thought it would be good for a laugh.

This place has sort of a Springfield vs. Shelbyville kind of thing going on. We call it the Battle of Alberta.

Back from my mom's conference. Man getting up at 6 AM is hard. Haven't done that in a while. I guess I met some people who were interested in my tech services, where I could set up their computers and such for their conferences. They even asked me what I'd like to get paid. I didn't have an answer. Anyways I thought that was pretty cool.

I think I made a mistake today. I drank one of those "Cocaine" energy drinks and a "Tweaker" energy shot, at the same time, shortly after taking some fat burner pills that were also full of outrageous amounts of caffeine. Must be about 700 or 800 mg of caffeine total. I feel like I have way too much energy and nothing to do with it... just cleaned the living room, hallway and front porch, who knows what next.

Caffeine is a good, and safe, supplement for weight lifting. Unless you take extreme amounts (way more than 800mg, unless you're a pussy) there are no harmful side effects to caffeine use. They can't even prove it's bad for your heart. It's great though for any physical exercise, because it punches the lazy part of the brain in the face, and you think you can do a lot more work than you normally would.

Just watch out on those energy drinks. I've pretty much come to the conclusion that sodas, and energy drinks, are pretty much poison. I never drink energy drinks, and I've cut way back on sodas (only have had one in four days, whereas I'd have drunk a hundred gallons of it). All the sugar and other artificial shit in it is deplorable for your health.

I keep saying I'm going to quit Pepsi, but it never seems to happen. I want to get down to one a day or so. I've figured the minimum amount for me is one a day without getting a headache. Not sure if it's the taste that does it for me, but I know that warm Pepsi tastes like ass, so maybe that's one reason to give it up.

That has nothing to do with being a "pussy"; yes, if you're obese you have to take a higher total dose to feel the same effects as a normal person, who would start shivering and getting lightheaded way before 800mg.

Forgot to mention this hotel I'm staying at has, get this, a Nintendo 64 console. Talk about old school. That thing came out in 1996 or 1997 I believe. Need to call the front desk to use it though.

I'm jealous. I need to play Duke 64 on one of those.

I've really been wanting to play Rogue Squadron again lately. N64 was a great system.

So after a few years of inactivity I resurrected my Steam account and purchased Borderlands GOTY edition, with all 4 DLCs included. It's over 12 GB and will take most of the day to download. Should be fun, though.
