Still using Windows XP for the time being, at least, until Dennis is constructed, then I'll shift to Windows 7 because I have to.
Apple products don't appeal to me personally, my Sony Walkman can still have more songs than an iPod due to an abundance of tapes and it got me laid once, I don't need an iPhone because my Nokia brick can make calls just fine and if I want to write to somebody there's a post box at the end of the road. But the user-base probably isn't entirely stupid, as with any crowd, there's always an idiot, some retard who follows the flow (or goes against it) to make themself look good to cover up underlying insecurities they have about themselves, but most of the Apple users I know are very clever. An example would be a woman I knew that went to university to do "Art" - not sure what kind of art, something to do with magazines - and a requirement for the course was a Mac Pro, I think she's god a degree now so I don't think she's stupid at all, she also stopped talking to me a long time ago which is another indicator that she was quite intelligent.
Apple products are also of quite high quality, the memory I have to use for my next computer is DDR3 ECC UDIMM, the
only place I can seem to get it in the UK is from suppliers who dub it "Mac Pro 2011 RAM" - If you're loading your machines with ECC memory, they are probably built with top-notch hardware as that stuff is NOT cheap, I'll be running 32GB of the stuff and that's gonna set me back £500 (If I import it from the USA, it'd cost more to buy here.) which is a large chunk of the cost of my system. I believe they also tend to use Xeon processors and nVidia Quadros in the Mac Pro - I still don't think the price is entirely justified, but it's not really as bigger gap as people make it out to be when you price up the equivalent Windows workstation and include the cost of Windows instead of pirating it, because remember, you are buying software as well, not only the operating system, so chuck the cost of all the equivalent software onto the cost of your Windows-equivalent.
Wait a moment.... I just noticed an iPod like logo in the post reply box, it's the insert media button... It's a conspiracy!!!

Bring out the tin-foil!
