I am looking at plane tickets to go to my sister's wedding and I'm realizing that I can't afford to go to more than one wedding every six months. It cost too much to travel that much. Well, I should say, I can only go to 1 non-local wedding every 6 months. At least for my sister's wedding, I don't have to rent a tux. I should buy a new suit (which I was going to do anyway), but that is a better deal than renting a tux. You pay over $100 to look damn good for a day when you rent a tux. You pay a little more and you can look damn good any time you want when you buy a suit.

A lot of my friends are getting married, so I've gone to a wedding every 6 months or less the last year or so. I missed one or two because I just couldn't afford the trip. Being part of the wedding party is worse since I end up having to rent a tux too. I mean, it is fun as hell and all, but it is expensive.

Getting rid of some old hard drives. Have to erase them, then I'm going to go recycle them.

I'm doing a US Department of Defense grade erase on these. It erases 7 times as well as it creates these encrypted files on the drive, then deletes them.

For comparison, at that age Ken Silverman developed the Build engine. So Hendricks is still only a shadow.

Age doesn't equal maturity. I've seen some 30 year olds acting like petulant manchildren. On the other hand, I've seen some very mature 16 year olds.

Erasing it once should be enough.

Anyways, I let the thing run overnight, and it's nearly done erasing. I had it set to one pass like you guys had recommended.
