It hurt for three days and I still have a scar from the insane, week long itch fest that was ground zero.

I remember being stung by one back when I was around 21 or so. Somehow managed to get a bee's nest in my house. Anyways, it kind of feels like a sharp razor blade or something. Really hurts.

Well, I haven't cut myself with a razor blade either but I see where this is going anyway.
I guess I should mention that both my parents get allergic reactions to bee stings which is also another part of my fear.

It's not that painful. But it depends on a depth of course.

i'm the bee whisperer. all members of the bee, wasp, hornet, etc. family are attracted to me for some reason. If i sit still long enough i'll have them crawling all over me.
they get pretty aggressive about wanting to land on me despite my efforts to shoo them away. most of the time i just let them land so they can check me out then i shoo them off once they're satisfied i'm not what they thought i was. (flower, dead corpse, who knows what)
i've only been stung a few times my entire life and that's because i either stepped on one barefoot, knelt on one that was hiding in the tall grass, and grabbed one when i was picking logs out of a wood pile.

Why not get an adult cat from an animal shelter?

I have 2 castrated male cats, not that big of a deal. Females would also need to be sterilized if they're outdoor cats... otherwise you're gonna end up with a lot more cats than you bargained for.

Haha yeah one of my cats is black too i'm not racist

My cat only goes outside if we (meaning family) are outside as well, even then he's scared of pretty much everything outside including the wind... so when it gets windy he panicks and wants to go back in. So uh, yeah he likes to be kept indoors...

Hmmm, shelter have cats and other stuff. But I wonder if I have an allergy cause, well, I remember having it around some cats. But maybe it was more like dust related and not animals themselves.
One thing about shelter is that you can come in and say "give me the most boring and lazy cat".

Well the thing is if you get a kitten it'll also grow up eventually so that makes no sense

(note I'm not saying just leave it to itself and let it rot but it's not like a dog that wants almost constant attention)

These Toshiba 120W adapters are clearly not up to the superior quality of the Asus adapters I SHOULD be using...
