I am not at all impressed by the Intensity Pro, first, I tried a WinTV Colossus, but the card was too slow and did not record in a format that worked with Vegas or VideoStudio so I nuked it and mailed it back to the seller, with the refund I bought an Intensity Pro - not sure which is worse.
The Colossus was waaay too slow and rarely displayed colors correctly, I used Component video - I also use the component video with my TV, so I know the signal is fine.

The Intensity isn't quite as slow, but it rarely works at all, pretty much everything on their site is a straight up lie.

To make matters worse, the HDMI input will not work with my VGA-to-HDMI box, the card doesn't support Encrypted/HDCP signals, but the box is not outputting an encrypted signal, just plain 720p 60, so I have no idea why I get a black screen. Audio clips all the time, It's Line-Level, 0db, just like everything else, but the card thinks it is too loud, I have to input at around -40db (Noisy as hell!) before it stops clipping, but most of my output sources do not have volume controls, the same thing happened with the Colossus, but I know I'm not going nuts, everything else sits there, just a bit below 0db at peak, usually around -5 to -15 if I can get it there, but not the Intensity, apparently it's too loud.
For further comparrison, here's a video from my old WinTV Express, a budget card I've had for around a decade, running Composite video, the card was on it's death-bed too, it could do much better than this when it actually worked properly, but I still think it's blowing the Intensity out of the water.

To make matters worse, some tit broke the one workstation I left at my mother's house, all the screws are gone, the DVD-RW is broken, the ram is nowhere in sight and my nice 3mm steel case is bent, it's a Pentium 3, but it cost a lot to get it up to scratch in the day. My camera also decided to die with a tiny "pop" whilst I was trying to film a rant about all of this crap, this has not been a good year for hardware and I'm about ready to throw it all in the trash and give up. I was going to build a Xeon E3 system to get me by for a while, but I might just move on to building the big E7, which was planned as my final build and then leave it at that.
