Sometimes it feels like there are different groups of us having 2 and on rare occasions 3 conversations at the same time, and we basically ignore the posts which aren't a part of our 'conversation'. But usually everyone posts about the same stuff and responds to the person above them.
It's only when some people are talking about something that I find completely boring like hard drives do I start talking about my own thing, but those people aren't done with their discussion so they're going on with it anyway.
Edit: Wow, Descent's post was at the end of the page, and when I clicked on this thread, I thought his was the last post, then it turns out there were actually 2 other posts after that on the next page...
And Jeff, if you move to Canada, you can start learning french

That's an awesome hack. I'm never buying a Seagate drive either, but for different reasons... they used to be very, very reliable drives, and then they bought Maxtor and cheapened up their entire product line to the point where now all they're known for is sporadic failure. WD for life!

She wants to fuck your brains out and is jealous that you talked to another woman. I think that is pretty obvious...I mean, why else would a woman say something about a man talking to another woman?

The Post Thread is for random stuff that doesn't need it's own thread. Random questions or thoughts get dropped in here and sometimes a small discussion springs up. I think there may have been a flame war at some point in here too simply because at that time a religion/politics thread wasn't in existence and the topic came up.
I like to post random crap in order to vent.

Good news everyone! After waiting a month, my storm force umbrella has arrived.

Got to test it out today on the way home because it was rainy and windy. This thing stood up to the test.

It's the period of time that we're in now, since DNF was released. It's different because before a lot of people on these forums were waiting for DNF, but now that it's out, they have different motivation for being here. It's kind of like the calendar measurement "A.D": from the time Jesus was born onwards.
I'm actually pretty happy that the Duke 3D modding thread has gone back to getting more activity than the DNF section.
They make storm proof umbrellas? I'd want one if it rained more often in Australia. Actually I reckon the average amount of rainfall in our country hasn't changed; it's a bit dryer over here these days, but in the east they're getting all sorts of floods now (they never used to), so it all balances out

I just recently follow EDuke32 in earnest, to keep my promises here.
Me I'm not too happy. I'm still connected to Google with instant feeds. Even now, when the game is on pre-order for MAC, the adverts (four today alone) are extreme trollish proclaiming that fact. - But your post made me think about Jesus Christ. He too was killed and came back to life. Perhaps DNF is destined for the same fate. - I still want modding abilities for DNF, even if it costs the value of the game, the game just begs for TCs. - Should you ever be tempted by modern engines, when you get the hang of it, and join a group and talk/text to your mates on Scype every day, nothing compares, sorry.

Edit: How about the first person to release a large, TROR map? Or the best TROR map within the next 2-3 months?

I would rather it be something that everyone could enter, mapping is really only for a selected few.

The following topics:
1) Elemental and environmental chemistry
2) Analytical techniques
3) Using and controlling reactions
I don't find it very hard, but it's testing 6 months of stuff and I feel there's going to be a question where I can't quite remember something critical, like how to draw the structure of some weird molecule.

I think I'll be good with my DVD box-set of the entire series. After all, it would be a bit of a waste to be showing 1920x1080 pitch black pixels all the time. (I kid the X-Files, but they do suffer from lack of lighting on occasion.)

The obstacle to this coming true is bandwidth caps.

Where I work we spend a fair amount of time talking about non-work stuff. Beats bitching about how much work sucks.

Australia has always had bandwidth caps, and other countries like New Zealand . The difference is that our bandwidth cap has been going up and up while the prices remain the same. For example at my house, without changing plans and without paying extra money, our cap as gone from 20GB a month, to 100GB a month over the past few years.
