I calculated on my own and they were almost right.
Folding a paper in half 103 times would actually be 14 billions of light years thicker than the observable universe.
103 folds = 107,192,619,335.4 LY
observable universe size
~93,000,000,000 LY
An average paper is 0.1mm thick and you need 100 to make 1cm thick.
103 folds has 10141204801825835211973625643008 layers of paper.

I remember this from high school algebra. The key thing to note is that you physically cannot fold paper more than about seven times before the result is too strong to fold again.

Seems the phone issues I had last two weeks are gone. Had a bad switching node near my place. Lots of static, no dail tone, and drop outs when trying to call or receive a call. Long distance was fine though.

Getting a phone/DSL filter seemed to help a lot.
