If you don't like people being retarded, don't read YouTube comments?

I have a comment blocker add-on for this very purpose. It has served me well these last few years.

The add-on not only blocks Youtube comments, but any site on the internet that has any form of comment section it will hide it.

The fact that they're even there is the problem. Regardless if I read them or not, the knowledge that the majority of today's population is THAT FUCKING STUPID, makes me want to fucking stab people. The gene pool seriously needs some chlorine. Getting a blocker won't change that fact, nor will it make anyone disappear.

Conditions can change people though... and people can change another persons conditions. :)

Reason takes great effort where force usually takes far less, but either one can cause someone to change themselves. It is the same as why people who wish to live, don't jump from cliffs, generally speaking. If something poses a threat to our survival, we will find a way to survive, including altering who we are today.
Because a person or persons can change the conditions of another person, any of us can technically be changed... I know, as I have both been changed, and changed others. Not by destroying them with a knife however...

The majority isn't that stupid; its just that the stupid ones are the only ones wasting time spouting stupid shit online.

Insightful criticism disguised as a Youtube comment, ingenious.

I wish I had the kind of faith in humanity to believe that isn't the majority.

I suppose I say this because a few years ago, I spent a good while crafting well rounded arguments and was never able to convince the other person to see it differently.

I mean, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink it.

I used to think the exact same way, I had no faith in humanity, its only recently I've been turning around and its cliche what I said, but its absolutely true; the absolute idiots are the loudest. Things could've been the exact same way back in the Wild West times, we just don't know if people were bickering idiots because there's no permanently archived part of the internet preserved to it like they are now.

Ironically, one of my personal motto's for the last 20 years or so is "I can lead a horse to water, make him drink, and have him thank me for the drink when finished..." In the end, it is his decision, as with all of us, but under the right conditions or influences, the decision becomes our own. People can be incredibly adaptive with the right reasons, and I don't mean just survival. :)

The kind of people I was dealing with were extremely closed-minded.

Sometimes I just wanted to yell this at them.

I think Youtube limits the amount of video you have to 15 minutes, unless you have some kind of special account. I'm a pretty casual user. Not like some people who upload videos daily. Last time I uploaded something was 2013 or something.

I'll see if I can make a video like that. Shouldn't be too hard. There is a lot of videos of that particular scene on Youtube though.
