Jeez Yatta you lucky bastard I think I speak for almost everyone when I say I'm fucking jelous!!!!!
But seriously you were the last one playing? So everyone else had gone and you were still there?
Were the lights being turned off and everyone was packing things away? Jeez that must've felt strange.

Nice! Although I wish I haven't read the first paragraph after "Spoilers ahead"

Nice read, thank you.
Can you elaborate how the two weapon system played out?

Awesome read Yatta. This will be my bible from now until May.
I kinda knew DNF would be awesome, never doubted it for a second. Can't wait until all the naysayers experience the same things you did !
I hope a demo comes out soon.

Should be fine. Were the graphics as good as I think?

Yatta, thank you for your review. I had almost tears in my eyes when i was reading that the game is actually like it should be. I'm so happy that you run this site and that you brought us that review. Thank you very much and keep up the fantastic work you do here.

The guys at Wired were really mean about the graphics, saying it looks dated and not nearly as good as the PC screenshots.
I don't care, I'm getting it for PC

The game sounds awesome, thanks for the writeup. I like Duke's pen, and the kid with a Duke3D t-shirt, lol.

Judging from Yatta's article DNF is exactly the game I wanted it to be. May can't come fast enough.

Yatta, any chance in a spoiler-less preview? I don't want to know how the game starts,, which bosses to fight, etc...
I'm particularly interested in these:
- How does the health system work? I assume it's probably ego based, but I'm curious how it exactly works (shooting an enemy = ego, or do you have to kill them? And can you pickup health packs? etc...)
- Does the two weapon limit bother? (I'm a PC gamer and don't like console influences, but it worked in games like Far Cry, hence my question Can't see how it'd work in a Duke game though)

You lucky, lucky boy ... but it must have hurt to leave before the party.
Thanks for the review, but I have to admit ... I didn't read the part about the demo. Don't want spoilers for that religious moment.

Fantastic read, thanks Yatta! Way, way more positive than the othe press articles I've read so far. Majority are whining about graphics and 1997 gameplay.
/me can't wait for 1997 gameplay \O/

Yatta, I still maintain that Scott Miller and yourself look extremely alike. Father and son kind of thing! Hell I still have that black and white photo I made of your face in THAT black and white Scott Miller profile photo...
Thanks for the spoiler warning - I skipped the rest. There are other sites with their previews up...but I quickly closed them as they weren't as professional as you Yatta.
Yes, a compliment. From Yickle. Try not to faint now, y'hear?
Regards,
Yickle!

I get out of school early due to a snowstorm, and according to Yatta, DNF is pretty worth the wait. Best. Day. Ever.
That and I have IGN's preview of DNF to laugh at to liven up the day.

I have a very important question for you Yatta:
When you have to sign the book "Why i'm so great" for the kid, can you write or draw whatever you want like in the whiteboard at the beginning of the game? that'd be hilarious!

Yatta I'm very happy you had a good time but come on man! we need a spoiler-less post, I can't read that! I don't want to know how it starts.
How about all the questions? did you get to ask them? did you get answers?
That's all I really care about
but in case I sound like an asshole right now, I am very happy for you Yatta
