Well at least the amnesia would help keep it separate from the original Duke 3D.

I actually like it. It fits the stereo type 3D Realms developed of Duke. A little tough mother with a huge ego. I never liked the character, maybe that's why I think the image fits. Besides, since I play FPS, I will never see this in the game.

I think it's a pretty damn cool piece of concept art. They're remaking Duke, not cramming the existing game full of new features - so I don't mind if the model differs from whatever we're used to (though I have to say that between the games I've never seen a single identifiable Duke-look). As far as concept art and a badass protagonist go, I think they did great

Is the team professional? If they are, then the picture sucks. If they are just wannabe's like us, then it's pretty darn good.

They're wannabes pretending to be professional, yet exist solely on donations (i.e. buy your way into the beta) and still have to answer to Gearbox.

They have more to release. Internally stuff is going around.
As this thread is quite long I can understand not everybody read the parts where it was explained that they cannot release anything without it being greenlit by GBX.
