Dude, the 2007 teaser wasn't even supposed to come out.
It was something done by the small devs in their SPARE TIME as a lulz gift for George Broussard.
They released it because George thought it was cool, not because it was planned as part of a marketing stunt.
And my theory stands because after that 2007 teaser, we got total silence for the next 2 years!
Also, the trailer that GBX has showed at PAX and we are all expecting, is my guess that it was put together before the trial happened.
As you can see in the leaked pictures from the new trailer, it's using an old Duke Nukem model.
I have a feeling that the trailer was put together one or two years ago and was supposed to come out in late 2009 - early 2010, when George was sure that the game will come out.
I don't want to predict too much here but if we ever get to see that trailer, I think you will give me credit for properly predicting this.
The way Gearbox is acting like a crippled snail ever since they announced DNF at pax, I just can't believe they took time to make that trailer that everybody said it's awesome.

Again, we don't know the details of what's going on internally between 2K and Gearbox, and there very much could be a reason why we haven't seen anything yet. I highly doubt all of it's intentional.

I've calmly(for the most part) waited since 1999 with hardly any complaining or impatience, and I'm perfectly fine waiting another few weeks for material. Gearbox has shown us more of DNF in the last month or so, than 3DR has in years... I'm pretty goddamn satisfied right now, and not only that; I can get an early demo, and I'd say that is a pretty fair fucking deal. It's like all the sudden that Gearbox has the game, the 12 years of calm and patience that some people had just got thrown right out the window. The only thing I got impatient with was all of the annoying bullshit in the community.

If you have a good friend who has the PC Borderlands and the DNF Early access code, ask him to select PC and 360 as preferred on the website, and give you the 360 Demo Code.
