My HUD keeps disappearing. I go into the game options and adjust the screen size down to the level where I can see the HUD. I play for a few seconds and the HUD disappears.

As a test, I made the screen very small and started to play. With the screen so small, I could see the full HUD. As I am playing, the screen will systematically get bigger in incremental steps until the screen is at its largest with the HUD not being visible.

So, I guess my problem is that the screen keeps resizing itself. I'm running on a screen resolution of 1280x800.

I downloaded EDuke32 today, so I should have the latest stuff.

Are you hitting the "+" sign by accident? It could be something on your keyboard or config settings for the keys.

Yeah, he probably has a key bound to both enlarge screen and some other function he uses.

I looked at the settings for enlarge screen, and they are not set to anything I use.

I ran another test where I shrunk the screen down and ran the game without any input from the mouse and keyboard. I sat there and watched the screen enlarge and eventually the HUD disappeared. Do you think the screen resolution is overriding something?

I delved a little bit more into the key bindings for the screen control and I cleared the settings it was using. I was able to play through the first level without any screen resizing and the HUD remained there.

Maybe your key is stuck. Sticky keyboards are not impossible.

Naw, he just said it was a bad binding. Although looking at the time stamp you might not have seen that before you posted.
