Someone posted links to really hi res versions of those box arts. Could someone point me in the direction of them? I didn't download when I should have and now I'm lost.

Does the game have no AA? And even without AA it doesn't look crisp at all. Every object(even Duke) have this strange aura around. The hell is this?

Probably just a side effect from the HDR in combination with the bloom.

That aura is most likely caused by the depth of field.
Also, about AA don't you worry, if it's unreal engine 2 or 3 I can guarantee you it will support AA either from the game's menu or by forcing it from the video driver or with nhancer!

Yes... but, (though not to the extent in the promo image), it's also in the trailer and leaked materials. Raziel has said the demo was also like that.

What's the point of that Stewox? We don't know anything about DNF yet to compare it to other games. Also there's wrong information there such as "Level editor, ok" as we don't know if they'll release it or not.

Elizabeth on the 2k forums said that the cover art is indeed final and isn't being changed. They aren't even listening to anybody's opinions. All they care about is money and marketing to a specific demographic. Totally against everything Duke stands for.

It is the final box art? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! it sucks. It focus point is Duke dick for crying out loud!! BOO!!
and the hand near it can easily be mistaken for a male's hand as I have seen proof of, that gives the entirely the wrong impression.

The cover for Duke Nukem 3D was a throwback to the poster of Sam Raimi's Army of Darkness and had Duke posing on a pile of dead alien bodies in front of a huge nuclear explosion.
The only way this differs is that there's no movie reference (to my knowledge) and that there are no corpses in the frame -- but there are aliens in the background, a looming threat and obviously a big part of the game (d'uh). Also they added the female hand giving Duke a reach around.
So I don't understand how this really goes against anything "Duke". It's trading a movie reference for sexual innuendo which was always a big part of Duke 3D anyways.
And seriously, anyone mistaking the female hand for Duke's needs a crash course in human anatomy and a slap in the face. Look at the picture for more than 5 seconds thx.

You mean with the old cover duke looked more serious? That and duke looking younger is the only different i can see

Partially. But it's moreso his pose and persona. Cocking his head to the left and what not. And I never said anything about Duke being serious or not. Just that he doesn't look intimidating at all in that picture.

I feel bad that they Didn't go with older Duke from 3DR. He only needed the clothing improvements and the air, nothing else. It was Perfect.

Didn't see this post. Duke is cocking his head to the side like a douche and he has that stupid cigar and a smirk on his face. That's called a thug. Duke is not a thug. He's a badass. Those are two completely different things. If they straightened his head up with the face from the Euro cover I'd be happy. Duke is ominous and intimidating...which is not what the current cover portrays. He's laughable.

I definitely like the Old Duke a lot more. Even though the model is less refined and needs work, that s the Duke i want.
