I have been reading a few comments as of lately on other forums and on Youtube that people can't seem to access D4N.

I haven't had any problems myself, but I thought I would bring this up any how.

A lot of people have been unable to access Duke4.net recently, including some important members of the community. I have been reading posts about it, getting e-mails and PMs on other forums. It's a serious problem.

Although, it does open slower than usual, I don't have other problems with it.

I have to make some calls today to our DNS provider to see what's going on. TX and I are trying to fix it...

You are in Australia or NZ, right Commander? I haven't had any problems where I am in the States. I am making the assumption that the problem is locational.

Try using Google Public DNS. I use it, and I have no problems.

Yeah, I couldn't access the site at all for a few days, getting a 404 error in return. This was around June 11th when the Take2/3DR lawsuit was settled as I remember trying to access it during that time but to no avail. Strangely some time later, a few days at least, I could again access the site as normal for at least an hour but then later, the same day, it would return to its aforementioned state, i.e. inaccessible. It was not until yesterday, as I wrote the message in this thread, that I yet again could access the site as normal. I've not had any errors whatsoever since that time.

Cool thanks, looks like updating the nameservers fixed the problem.

Same probs here. Tried on different providers ( including different mobile connections ) and site was down for good, not any of sub domains or main site worked. Just blank screen and tried pinging, looked like it was completely dead :/

For my end, everything looks good now and site works fully. Earlier i phoned in my ISP and asked and they said there is no site responding. Now everything works good.


EDIT: few times this "Firefox can't find the server at forums.duke4.net." and "Firefox can't find the server at www.duke4.org." and "Firefox can't find the server at www.duke4.net." few refreshes and it might work. Not sure if this is only in my end?


EDIT2: tried downloading this: http://www.duke4.org...polymer_hrp.zip and 404 :S

Thanks for info. I tried using proxy, few different DNS and 5different computers, 404 on every try :/
