You ripped that comment off from Duke Nukem now you stole copyrighting :)

Yeah, but since Duke ripped it from They Live, Duke is being sued first.

You would think people would use the search button, or google, or common sense before posting here? NEIN

You should really play more games/get your facts straight.

Kicking and full body awareness has been done before.

Hehe, I was thinking this. I was also thinking that one cannot trademark a standard pair of fingerless gloves. Anyway, Duke himself is just a rip-off of/homage to various 80s and 90s action film protagonists. You'd be surprised even how many of Duke's one-liners are lifted straight from other media.

^If you haven't already seen it, that's where the "It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum.. and I'm all out of gum" comes from.

And who did duke steal it from? most of dukes cheesy comments and puns usually originate from a really cheesy 80's action movie.

Sorry for bumping this old topic but...

...I wonder where they got the idea to put Duke into Bulletstorm? Hmmmm....

Bulletstorm ripped off DNF except it was way more fun and you could do the Duke boot whenever you wanted, not just context sensitive finishers.

But try to jump where you want. In Bulletsorm it is a context sensitive move.

A free to use boot is fine .... but only if also the basics like free movement are put in and chest high fences don't become an unjumpable obstacle for the toughest warriors in the galaxy. :P

And since you stated "Bulletstorm is more fun" as a fact instead of an opinion:
No, for people with higher standards DNF is still bad but waaayyyy better than Bulletstorm. Unless you like on rails shooters sold as skill based FPS (yes, they sold it as skill-based initially ... sorry, for me skill starts somewhere around semi competitive servers for Q3A or UT/2k4 and upwards and not at a shooter that has thin faucets as levels and no movement abilities at all (where DNF at least had the decency of having jumps and linear corridors instead of faucets)).
