So I'm getting FAT now so excuse the hand covering my grotesque belly. HRT makes you gain weight like Viper at a Chinese Buffet (I've literally seen Viper pack on the pounds after we exit the local buffet in my city). Should start working out, I guess.

HRT doesn't directly cause weight gain. it does cause an increase in appetite.

low carbs, and a bit of exercise to boost your metabolism should help remedy the situation if you feel that it's a problem

Thank Forge :3 I do, though, because my belly is flabby and pudgy now. I haven't really noticed a change in appetite, only that I've started gaining weight out of nowhere. I've always been as thin as a rail.

I do need to exercise before my ass eats itself, it's an idea...just need to not be so lazy and take a break from coding every once in awhile...

Getting fat and having fat are two different things... <edits your hand away in the image>

Aww... I like tummys... I will likely never have one might be why they are great to me. Gotta be happy with yourself though. :P

Like this... :P

So comfortable when you lay your head on that kind of tummy. :P

Sorry you aren't happy with yourself though... I find you quite visually pleasing.

A chiropractor once told me that when it comes to weight loss, the ratio is 70% food intake (calories), and 30% exercise. Like that old saying "you are what you eat". So for me, lose the sugar, and off comes the pounds. Different for others. Someone I know doesn't eat lots of sugar, but he does eat extra servings instead of just eating until your satisfied.

If the weight came out of nowhere without eating lots of extra calories, my guess would be water retention.

Yep... the complexities of the relationship between caloric intake, base/source of the calories themselves, the individuals processing of various foods etc can be in extreme. Not to mention the interaction of certain foods mixed. I don't agree with the food groups being mixed in most instances... logically, in the wild, you don't find a full course meal. Many diets you will see indirectly and directly point this out. As a general rule, you don't mix hard proteins with near pure sugars or corn syrups as this WILL cause in most people, increased storage of body fat.
Throw hormones in the mix and there are other changes that should be adjusted for. It is my opinion that one needs to understand the logic of diet AND of how their own bodies react to different intakes, and go from there rather than letting some person or group tell them what is right or wrong etc. "Learn how to know what is right." so to speak.

Does drinking Monster energy make you gain weight?? I didn't even think about it until this morning. I've had one everyday for a year and a half. :P

Does it bloody matter? people are the size that they are, nobody gives a shit... If they do, it's their problem. That's my attitude at least. Can't pass any judgement this time, the photo is blurry. Also, lol @ Commander still trying to make himself look like a nuclear fallout survivor.

Since rotting half my stomach out of existence from starvation I can't put any weight on no matter how much I eat - still steadily losing it which makes me wonder what happens when I run out of weight to lose. It hurts to sit down (NO!) because there isn't any padding left in my ass.

This thread sucks.

No idea what is in them... if it is sugar and caffeine, probably not unless you eat something with it. Imagine sugar as energy, but with other stuff like starches and proteins it transforms how they are used in your body. Sugars with meat or sugars with bread (in general) is not really a good mix for trying to loose weight, but two hours apart makes them work completely different in your body. Like in the Adkins diet, you can intake a LOT of meat as long as you don't intake bread and sugar with it.

I have to agree here for the most part... you have to be happy with you cause you got to live with you every day. I don't mind body fat to a point for others, but that has nothing to do with you. Just be sure your views aren't coming from pressures of what society thinks you should look like. I think you look great... I can tell you are super selective about the angles, distance and such of the images you post. You know the image you are comfortable presenting here... nothing wrong with that.

Ok... that sounds pretty bad dude... you do know if you lose your body fat below about 5% it could damage your heart, right? Is what happens to anorexic people. Good luck...

it has glucose which is basically a carbohydrate - something you should try to keep to a minimum if you're going to diet, but those drinks have so much caffeine and other ingredients that ramp up your system that the weight gaining ingredients and the metabolism boosting ingredients probably offset each other.

Guess it also depends on how your body metabolizes stuff.

....blah, blah, blah..whatever makes you feel good about yourself.....blah, blah...don't let society dictate your self image....blah, blah....

i'm sure you already have the self confidence to be yourself and do what makes you feel good about your own image. If you want to lose a few pounds, go for it. Just be smart about it and don't damage your innards.

That still doesn't do anything when you are consuming as much energy drink as that a day.
Otherwise my teeth wouldn't be fucked.

That's the problem, I'm not happy. I have a serious unhealthy obsession with looking perfect. Even then, my self-esteem is so low that it doesn't even matter. And I think my views ARE coming from either society or something else. It's just that my problem is that I'm not comfortable presenting ANY image, unless I take a million and weed them out, or get inebriated before I go out so I don't notice other people noticing me. It really sucks! And I'm trying to be completely honest...it's not easy. I'm always seriously critical of what other people think of me, to the point where it doesn't really matter what I think of me most of the time. For instance, the game I'm developing with the publisher - we almost have ZERO social media contact in comparison with our direct rival (Elysian Shadows and their Adventures in Game Development) because I am terrified of what I must look to other people! So I have others go in my place and then people wonder what's wrong with me showing myself in public. It turns into a disaster every time and it kills me.

It's rare that I can present myself the way I want to without anyone else triggering low self-esteem. I think it's my general anxiety, it's really bad. I should get on something, maybe.

I'm always afraid of getting money, if I ever had a lot of it at once I'd be one of those people who would become unrecognizable. It's a sad, weird fantasy that I can't shake. I wish I was happy with myself all the time but I'm hoping in time that I can accept myself. I never have. Maybe it stemmed from both sets of parents, who knows, I really have no clue.

Though, it is nice to get flattering comments. At least for that small amount of time, I am content with myself. What weirds me out is that I know other Trans people who...for lack of a better term, don't look as... convincing (no offense to them, those people do exist IRL) or such, and they are completely happy with themselves. Like, why can't I be like that? I know, for a fact, that I am more than passable but it's not a thought that sticks with me. As soon as I go out in public that barrier of confidence breaks down.

Sorry for being personal, I feel comfortable enough with everyone here to talk about this stuff. I just ripped a bowl and drank a 20oz of Smirnoff, so I'm comfortably crossfaded. :(

I know, from personal experience. Pepsi is highly acidic (PH of 2.49 or so). Monster energy drinks are around a PH of 2.7 and wears down your tooth enamel. Luckily, I don't drink as much Pepsi as I used to. One a day is fine.
