Bobby Prince just passed away  "RIP"

Unfortunately Robert “Bobby” Caskin Prince lll (more commonly known as Bobby prince) has recently passed away (16 June). You might know him as the legendary composer behind the soundtracks of classics such as Doom I and II, wolfenstein 3D, commander keen games, rise of the triad, duke nukem 3D etc.
I really liked his work ever since I was a kid especially the soundtrack of doom 1 and 2. What I find really strange about his demise is that I keep getting recommendations on every social media about how someone got doom running on their microwave but when one of the creators of doom died absolutely no one posted about it(well after searching, many people did posted it but compared to the doom related content that gets posted It's still insignificant). It's a shame. I hope he's in a better place now and his family is doing well.

Reason for edit: you could at least spell the man's name right in the thread title

Linking to earlier posts from the obituaries thread for reference, albeit this thread may also have its place: https://forums.duke4...post__p__387337

Similarly to what I wrote elsewhere:

Robert will be missed. He had his influences going beyond composing music for video games, including the experiences with his family and more people knowing him.

As for video games, he had his musical contributions, going as early as Keen 4-6, Catacomb 3-D and Rescue Rover 2; But also in various other games, some examples being Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny, Bio Menace, Pickle Wars, Blake Stone, Doom and Doom II, Duke Nukem II and 3D, and DemonStar.

In addition to music, he was also working on sound effects for games.
