Have you played any of the games ? I assume your first experience was Battle Isle 4 Incubation just like me, and most likely the one most remember as most have played



however the best of the series is Battle Isle 3 Shadow of the emperor :

I only played the demo of Battle Isle 2/2200. I also poked around Advanced Strategic Command a bit but didn't get too far. I gather it's a competent and close freeclone of BI2.

a spiritual successor was released in 2013 :
Battle Worlds : Kronos
just in the name there's barely hidden references to Battle Isle

hopefully Ubisoft will ressurect the Battle Isle Ip the way they just did for Heroes of Might and Magic, Unfrozen (the studio working on HoMM Olden Era) would also be great for that job
the last thing fans want though is a Andosia War 2.0
