Congrats on your first release! I can tell, you have what it takes to make some really awesome maps. Your attention to detail, shading, texturing and architecture are solid. You definitely have an artistic eye.

Here's another location where you can find your map on display: https://www.dukemaps.net/7ghub/

Thanks Paul! :)

Played this on the weekend, I got super unlucky and didn't get a pistol at the start, which really made the map harder for me then I think it would've been if I had it.

I really liked how vibrant you made the level, it was just so colourful. I do think some sprite detailing did go a tad overboard, but you still made each area feel very unique.

Really love the secret areas you built, having nice little unique areas built for them really added some nice character, I couldn't figure out how to get to the Luke Nukem area though (nor the secret exit at the start).

Combatwise, because of the ammo and health being scarce it was a tad tough, but I also wouldn't say it was unfair like some maps spawning a ton of monsters without anyway for me to have time to react, but I might even have a more positive view on the combat if I only got the pistol at the start and not near the end

Speaking of ending, I really thought the end was prepping something with the way you dumped so much ammo and health only for it to then abruptly end.

Really great first level, you did so much in your first outing that I'm excited to see how you continue to develop from here

@ Nacho: thanks! Yes there is no starting pistol intentionally, sorry! You're right about the sprite detailing but at some point even I got bored and didn't add more here and there. ;) Combat was intended to be a bit more tough, but there really should be plenty of ammo. Health could be a problem sometimes, but then there are water sources to drink health from all around. Sorry for the ending, the map is meant to be a colorful show off of almost everything with a lot of sick "humor" - if to say so.

Was cool to see the map featured on YT with TLOD, greetings and cheers to him (and still, no pistol! lol). Is he around here? Some other nickname perhaps?

TLOD is Nacho, I was posting the video because he seemed too humble to, when really he shouldn't show reserve sharing his streams because this is the place to do so. Or maybe he just forgot.

Little column A, little column B, I find it odd to self-advertise really. I struggle with it since I don't want everything to feel like it is just being done for self-promotion, even if I should self-promote more.

Very excited to see what you cook up next. Your first map really is impressive to me, it did a lot well and even the stuff I could be more critical of, I still understood why you did it, at least the intent of it, like the lack of pistol at the start.
