WINDOWS MME equivalent on Linux?

Hi

On Windows 11, https://dukeworld.co...23-388752735.7z , there's OPTIONS, SOUND SETUP, DEVICE CONFIGURATION, MIDI DRIVER: OPL3 EMU. or WINDOWS MME or .SF2 SYNTH .

On Arch Linux KDE, https://aur.archlinu...ackages/eduke32 , MIDI DRIVER: OPL3 EMU. or .SF2 SYNTH or ALSA MIDI .

So what is the equivalent of MIDI DRIVER: WINDOWS MME on Linux? Something to download? I googled "windows mme equivalent linux", nothing.

For info: success for ALSA MIDI https://www.rncbc.org/drupal/node/2805 .

Also: why (still) EDuke32 ? 32 ? There's EDuke32 64-bit...

Thanks.

Are you asking how to get EDuke32 on Linux to sound as it does on Windows? I think your best bet is to use a soundfont such as this one

Original eduke was a DOS program. EDuke32 started out on the Win32 API before moving to SDL which handles the platform specific stuff.
