[Ninety-Six]

Title. I am using a PS4 controller, plugged in via USB.

Steam does great at letting this controller run even in non-steam apps and still be accepted. I want to keep that aspect (so disabling it is out of the question), but I want to either completely detach it from keyboard commands, or, alternatively, let me actually rebind them.

For the former, I can't find any option to disable Steam trying to use the controller as a keyboard substitute. For the latter, I can go into the "Edit Layout" tab, but it won't even let me change what the buttons even translate to. It's really pissing me off. It's at its worst when it pulls up the virtual keyboard, as I don't know how I'm doing that or how to get it offscreen.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
