Does VoidSW fix the crosshair misalignment?

Title. This source port is rarely talked about and I don't think it's even mentioned that you get it when you download eduke32. It's just there, and I know very little about it.

Yes. I recall having a part in fixing it: https://voidpoint.io...0186fcf6c37528b

Tbf, the port needs a bit more love (being able to load user maps from the main menu and the weird ><90 fov bug come to mind). Out of the box it is IME the best way to play SW. I think conversation of it got nixed because development stalled because of IF? Which is understandable.

I'm not aware of this one. What's that?

If you have the FOV above (and I believe below as well) 90 you get errors like this

and this

Every time you get near a camera and portal (the last one is admittedly, afaik because I played SW early this year and I can't remember off the top of my head if it is still and issue) this weird camera flicker happens. Hendricks once explained to me why it happened and I think it was on the to do list but then IF development was full steam ahead and VoidSW understandably got lesser priority. Maybe later on it will get fixed.

Also yes, I know the videos are 4 years old.

I was dumb and misunderstood your post. I thought you were saying that the reasons to love and use VSW was because it allowed user maps to be loaded from the menu and fixed the FOV bug in the original, and being unaware of such a bug or even the ability to change the FOV in vanilla, I was confused.

Ouch. Well Aftershock is done now, right?
