A decompilation of Duke Nukem Zero Hour appears to be over 90% complete! Does that mean a PC Port could soon be made, much like Ship of Harkinian after the OoT decomp was complete? Can you imagine playing DNZH on your PC at 60 FPS or higher?

Oh, no doubt, but I specifically meant that controller. The thing made for people with three hands and is awkward to hold for everyone else.

Duke Nukem: Zero Hour is a fantastic game, and having a native Windows version would be brilliant. Especially if they add either mid-level checkpoints, or a save anywhere function (DNZH, which is N64 only, only saves between missions).

I PM'd the bloke (via Youtube) who was making the DN:ZH PC port, and he says it's fully working and almost complete, but that he won't be distributing it to anyone, as he's worried about potential legal ramifications. I'm *really* disappointed about this, but we can't blame him, of course.

I really hope someone else starts work on porting DN:ZH, a PC version would be brilliant.

Maybe he should send it to someone in a country where that's not an issue.

Surely any capable programmer could compile the source code from the online decompilatied source code into
a PC native build of the game, and release it for anyone to download and play?

Also, is there a webpage or forum or whatever that hosts other PC builds of N64 games that were decompiled via this (or similar) process? When the news of this new process
came out, the gaming-news websites made it sound like in a short time many N64 games would son be available as PC native programs, but I've not, as far as I can remember,
seen much progress being reported online.

My daughter and 26 year old "coop gaming friend" were familiar with the N64 controller after something like 5 minutes. He even like this joypad now. A real man can play on everything.

Yes! Finally, a PC version of this fantastic game. Sadly, it doesn't yet have mouse support, or save support, but it's a very early build, and no doubt in a short time it will have these functions (and more, such as maybe an option to switch between first and third person view whilst playing, and maybe even a new option to show the carried/used weapon in first person view). We already have a superb PC port of the N64 classic Perfect Dark, and now we have this to follow. Brilliant!

The N64 is my favourite ever console, but I have never liked it's official controller. So I bought a Makopad 64:



And it was monumentally better than the official controller. It is really comfortable to use, doesn't need to be held in different ways when you want to use different buttons, and it still works fine today (how many decades old controllers can you say that about?), it's analogue stick is metal, unlike the official controller's, so it's never worn down over time.

Mind you, countless people love the N64's official controller, though personally I've never seen why.,
