[RELEASE] Super Mario 64 - Big Boo's Haunt  "Now with 100% fewer Boos and 100% more aliens!"

#1

This map is based on Big Boo's Haunt from Super Mario 64 but with changes/improvements all over the place (for instance, you can actually see through all the windows, which you couldn't in Super Mario 64). This map uses TROR heavily (including TROR scissoring in multiple places) so keep that in mind when deciding which renderer to use. (I honestly didn't expect to have this map finished this quickly; it leaves me wondering if maybe I've missed something.)

Congrats on release, I recognize all the places from the screenshots but the last one in particular is pretty damn sick and also to me looks like a very impressive TROR planning feat.

I'm not familiar with the original, but gotta agree with ck3D that the building from the last screenshot looks damn impressive, it even has a sloped window in the roof, not to mention the epic balcony!

I had to upvote simply because of TROR scissoring. I think you and I might be the only 2 modders using it any more.

Edit: NVM, I think I found it (blue card puzzle).

This map is great and I can't believe I missed it the first time around. I pulled it from the DuckZone collection that TD recently released. Thanks, ToiletDuck!

Thanks for bumping this. I can't believe I missed it either. ToiletDuck, I think this has to be the best SM64 conversion yet. It's crazy how exact it is to the original map.

SM64 3d map found here for comparison: https://www.devianta...t-Map-943642164

formerlyTodd, where did you find the blue key? I've been searching for a bit but can't seem to find anything..

IIRC it spawns in the room with red lights, there are some switches visible when looking at the ceiling structure and their combination is given elsewhere in the map. I remember struggling to find it as well when I played a couple months ago :P

Thank you! I don't think I would have ever seen them all the way up there! :)
