So I thought seen as this game might never be released now why don't we utilize Duke3D with Duke Plus and poly to make as a community duke Nukem Forever as seen in many of the trailers. I would love to make that casino level from the 2001 trailer. What would people think about this project?

Well come on, the game isn't coming out, and we aren't exactly gonna rip sprites from the game or anything (cause guess what - there's no game lol) but nah they would be self made. I see this as like a TC/Mod or whatever so legally fine as long as you own Duke 3D.
Either Duke Nukem Forever or maybe Duke Begins where we could write an origin story.

It is not meant as a troll in any way at all. In the past 6 years I have seen so many of these threads. Somebody we've never heard of has this "AMAZING" idea, posts about it, and wonders if anyone wants to work on it. I've seen it so many times. Recently I even saw one, which I won't name, but if you browse 3DR Forums you know very well, where the "modder" just replaced a few pieces of menu art. If you want to start a mod, all the power to you, but at least bring something more to the table than "I have this idea." No offense to this guy, but as far as I know his modding abilities are squat.

That isn't true, we thought 3D Realms was dead at first too, but a month later or something like that we heard that they just send the development team home and 3D Realms is continuing as a small company
So we aren't sure of that
