Is there a Doom Ep1 Duke3D map pack?

Ok I got both programs to work now. The first one is abit cleaner as it chooses better texture choices, but it couldn't convert the 3rd level so for that I used wad2map.
Here are all of the converted maps for anyone to do anything they like. I changed nothing they are just converted maps from doom1 e1.

I would see such converters as little more than an easy way to create map templates which can (and should) be further edited. But well, I guess the results are playable and there are people out there for which that is enough.

I agree, I made them available to people to edit, including myself. I doubt the 3rd level is playable.
I have started working on something with them.

Not bad at all. Those three medkits next to each other on the first screenshots are ofc a bit excessive, but I guess that's a thing which simply happens during conversion and has to be adjusted manually.

Yes there are hundreds of med kits everywhere from the conversion.

How expansive are you planning making the extra areas? TROR looks good.

Agreed! Definitely seems like a great tile set for the episode. I wonder which ones would work well for Shores of Hell and Inferno? Maybe Shores of Hell could be more Lunar Apocalypse but a focus on the 'alienification' of normal areas and Inferno could be more tiles from Fusion Station/Overload? Though I wonder if those subset of tiles are varied enough though to make it visually appealing for two episodes (especially for Inferno)...

Thanks.

There are some areas and new passageways I have added that were not in knee deep, but not many, I'm keeping new stuff to a minimum hopefully it adds goodness to the levels.
The first release I will make will be the first 2 levels combined with TROR, then I might combine the next 2, maybe level3 and the secret level together.

I would like to make a couple levels with the fusion station art set and theme one day.

Anyways its fun working with the space art set again its been a long time.

A properly converted episode without just running the maps through a converter is kinda overdue and it's interesting to watch it finally happen.

Ck3d made every Duke 3D episode turned into a single map, now Will is doing the same with Doom :D

HAha Yeah nah bro, just 2 doom maps in 1 Duke map for now. :) Takes me 10 mins to pass the map.
