So I set up Nuclear Winter and it's HRP with EDuke32 and I thought it was fine, but there are a few problems, does anyone know how to help?
1. The Chapter/Level names remain the ones from chapter 2.
:P2. pig cops, the snowmen and all the elf-type enemies are stuck in one position, can't move and can't be killed.


I extracted and put all the nuclearwinterhrp contents into the Nulcear winter folder.

BTW, my folder structure is:
EDuke32(Eduke is here)>Nuclear Winter>nwinter
>texts
I'm running all my expansions though the one Eduke32.exe


Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong??!

to play Nuclear Winter run with:
EDuke32.exe -xNWEDuke.con -gNWINTER.GRP -gnwinter_hrp.zip


duke3d_hrp.zip is located in autoload folder

Run the NWinter.bat that comes with the NWHRP! You may have to change this line:

if not exist eduke32 <something>

to this:

if not exist eduke32.exe <something>

Thanks, Hendricks (I tried your way first) It works fine now!

One last thing, textures like the shotgun aren't textured like they are in the normal Hi-res pack
Is that just because of you pack not including them, or am i doing something else wrong?

If the normal HRP is in autoload, it should work fine. If it still doesn't work, delete any loose copies of duke3d.def, and extract the duke3d_hrp.def file out of the duke3d_hrp.zip. Don't put the NWHRP in autoload.
