I think you're missing out. The AMC TC campaigns are easily the meat and bones of the game. If you're paying user maps or even the EDF missions, you're getting a pale imitation of the full experience. Several of the core missions really push what's possible in a build game.

In addition, while Alien Armageddon's "New Invasion" episode doesn't push technical boundaries like AMC does, it's still a very excellent set of professional-grade levels that work really well with AA's new content.


But to each their own I suppose.
