Duke3D Sites Around The World

It would be nice if forum members in country's like France, Italy, Poland, Russia etc. could do a search for Duke sites in their country that have maps and mods available for download. I have done a pretty thorough search myself for TC's and mods but I doubt I found everything available. Links to the sites could be posted in this thread. Thanks ahead of time to anyone willing to help find more Duke mods to play. Eddy

I believe you wont find many mods or TCs around these sites. I know a couple of sites about duke in spanish but they lack of any kind of exclusive content. So i guess that also applies to sites in other languages, most likely because if somebody makes a TC he would want to release it in the more international forums.

Still, if you want to take a peek, there are the sites i´m talking about. Good luck understanding what the fuck mean all those words ;)

Thanks for the links. You could be right about there not being much more available. I have found some mods on non English sites though that I had not seen anywhere else.

Here's a russian TC (that we couldn't get to work properly), called Liquidator (MediaFire). Grab it while it's available.

Here's the http://liquidator-world.chat.ru/ and http://liquidator-wo.../jpgarchive.htm.

It seems like it has actual CD artwork too, maybe it got printed in Russia?

Yeah, Liquidator got released in Russia. I actually managed to get a legit CD rip of it, but it just refuses to work. It uses some weird hacked version of Build. It doesn't look like it's worth taking apart really, either.

It appears that 3D Shooter Legends has either been shut down, or is just temporarily down, so I can't get more information. I remember there was a sequel made, but it used a more modern engine.

Yeah, I just tried it too. When I ran setup.exe it stopped at 96%. It would have been interesting to see what it looked like.

Here's the non-iso package made by Geoffrey, if that's any help: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=609CB59J.

Here's the one we got actually working, a EDuke32 version made by Eddy Zykov: http://rapidshare.co...66/LIQUIDAT.ZIP. I got it working fine with this when I extracted the GAME.CON from the GRP file, renamed the GRP to DUKE3D.GRP and put them in a sub-folder in the EDuke32 directory.

Thank you. I played the first level to check it out and it ran fine.

Anyone still have this version for EDuke32? I have a version of the game for DOSBox, but would rather check it out on EDuke. I've tried another version with the same ZIP filename, but it didn't work in EDuke32. The RS link above is dead. Thanks.

I have just tried Daedolon's receipe with a current EDuke32 build and it works for me:
Only three files in the working directory are needed: eduke32.exe, GAME.CON (extracted from Liquidat.grp) and DUKE3D.GRP which is a renamed Liquidat.grp (http://dukeworld.duk...or/liquidat.zip).
