I haven't changed anything in my browser preferences for a while concerning cookies. But within the last few weeks I have been noticing a big increase in messages showing up on websites with their cookie and privacy policies. Is there something new in the industry that requires this for certain websites that gather and use the cookie info a certain way or are they becomming more transparent simply because they're nice guys.
