Q. What is this?
A. A Duke Nukem styled role playing game on Garry's Mod (You also need to have Counter Strike: Source)

Q. What can you do?
A. Plenty, boring quests including going around finding useless items or killing Alien scum (yes they are coming so Zombies and other HL NPC's for now)

Q. Guns/Inventory/Items?
A. Pretty much every weapon from DN3D will make an appearance, plus there is also a melee system.
You can also equip armour and other items that will physically show up on your player.

Q. MP!?!?!
A. YES! This is MP and is recommended to be played online with others. You can create squads/groups so that you can share the EXP and make quests easier, or you can go it alone.

Q. Is it released/playable now?
A. Yes, you can join the server at 66.55.152.147:27016

Q. Why did you call this "Duke Nukem Reloaded" that is a name for another shitty Duke game.
A. That one you are talking about is actually called "Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded"

Q. WTF why is this on Garry's Mod. All you do in that game is put rag dolls in silly poses and spawn stupid stuff.
A. Clearly you have no idea what Garry's Mod is, and that entirely new game modes can be created from it.

Story:
After our hero Duke Nukem defeated the Cycloid Emperor when we last saw him, he was then mysteriously sucked into a vortex portal. (Do not ask us why or how) 
There he met a man in a blue suit, white shirt and tie. He told Duke that he has been watching his efforts in fighting Dr Proton and the evil alien invaders. He requested that if Duke wanted to be returned to his time that he was needed to do some "favours" to suit his fellow benefactors in another universe. 
Just then the man in the suit vanished and everything went black. 
When our hero came back to he found himself on the porch of some two story old house. 
He could see some people inside... (and this is were you take over) 

So this ladies and gentlemen is what I have been working away at in the background. I know not many people here have Garry's Mod (It's cheap as chips in the latest humble bundle offer) but those that do may be interested in this.

That's the problem with First Person Shooters today. They feel the need to put in all this extra shit to try to make the game interesting and add "replay value" instead of actually having the core game (I.e the shooting and level design) be super solid.

Games like Duke 3D had this done so well that people are still making user maps today with many of them having fresh ideas even after 17 years of content.

It probably will not interest you anyway.
It could be special/interesting to someone that enjoys role playing games like Border Lands and then Duke combined all into one.

EDIT: I forgot to mention there is PVP, so that if you get bored doing boring quests and shit you can challenge other players.

Yes, I did play it. I was originally on their development team and I still have an unfinished build of it in my possession. I don't think the same can be said about our good Commander, here.

Looks pretty cool! I'd try this out but I don't have Counter Strike: Source. Although if I can ask, you mentioned a melee system; will there be melee weapons or will Duke just evolve from sissy-fisting to this:

There are already melee weapons, like the crowbar and crap.
But I'm not sure if I want to include a whole heap of melee weapons and just leave it as a back up attack.

I have been adding in lots of littleth ings from the likes of Duke3D like the microphone and toilet, they serve no real purpose other than lolz.
I've just finished adding in a DukeBox which plays the original Grabage, Megadeth version, DNF and the intro tracks from Time to kill and Land of the babes.

Next I'll put in some random "babes" that you can tip and will actually dance.
