I wonder if there's a 3D Realms and Triptych logo on the back. The only shot of the back is cut off so we cant see.

FWIW I like the fact they went oldschool in regards to the disc label/nuke log like the original game. Very Nukemish.

Without Triptych, we wouldn't have any Duke Nukem Forever at all.

Heh I remember on the Gearbox forums people speculating that 3DR and Triptych wouldn't get their logos on the box. Joe Siegler said he had seen the final artwork and fans didn't need to worry about that. We shall see...

Maybe this is fake. To me it look like printed paper on cd with the printer
The paper cover is too small to fit the box and the fine text on the edges of the cd look too blured.
This is absolute fake!!!

Actually...one other thing I noticed is it has the Unreal Engine logo. I haven't seen that on any other piece of marketing, and they've said the game is basically no longer the Unreal engine because so much of it has been custom-made by 3D Realms. I don't know if that means it's fake, or if it means they still have some kind of licensing deal with Epic that requires it to be on the box.

Right. My guess it's a peep from a distributor from the UK. Fake or not, it smells like a leak soon to happen.
Also, 3D Realms used a lot of phrases from 'common' sources. 'Cocked and Loaded' could come from here

Lol if he said we don't need to worry about it, that doesn't mean the logo's actually on the box, thanks for posting that. Their careful choices of words amuses me sometimes.

When this is real, how has get this Fan a copy from a Full-Game, when the release is first in about 11 Days? It's unreal for me.

That box only seemed to contain a poster and a shirt, I didn't see the DVD anywhere.

My friend knows some people who works at Gamestop and he's been collecting all the posters and stuff they've had and he's going to mail them to me. I'll try to take some pics when I get it all. He said they're even going to let him have the cardboard cutout of Duke and one of the twins. He's going to try to mail that to me as well if he can.

I don't see why it would be fake. Copies are being mass-produced and I expected to see some pics of the case(s). As for the paper cover in the case, it appears to be normal size. I have a PS3 case in my hand right now comparing it and it looks the same size to me. Also, if it's fake, where'd they get that background of inside Duke's penthouse where the disc attaches on? I haven't seen that released on the internet. It's real IMO. And I'm sure the 3DR logo is on the back of the cover near the bottom.

Hey, did anybody even stop to think for a second that maybe the console versions don't have the 3drealms logo on them simply because 3drealms hasn't been involved in porting them?
Even though I admit it would be weird, maybe the 3drealms logo will only be present on the Pc version of the box and dvd.

Yes, i did think that but 3DRealms and Triptych were still involved in the development of the DNF game.
After all, i believe at the time of DNF in 3DRealms hands, they were already porting it to the Xbox 360
