Blood decal flickering with HDP & EDuke32

I'm playing mods with EDuke32 & HDP 4.0 and notice annoying flickerring of blood. Is there a fix for this? I'm using an ATI x1050 PRo card with latest drivers. Also, how do I play old mods like The Gate with EDuke32? I get them partially working but with sounds & texures missing. TIA.

Well I just run a simple bat like
eduke32 -gTheGate.grp -xTheGate.con
this is how my "The Gate" works with eduke at the moment
Nuclear Winter may work sometimes but you may need the con files included in the Nuclear Winter HRP
The Only Offical Mod I Havent Got To Work Is DukeZone!2

Polymer makes some sprites flicker. There's nothing you can do about it at the moment, except not use that renderer.

Thanks for the help. That bat file worked, audio & music plays fine, but I have a new issue: with the HRP installed & resolution set to 1280X1024 32-bit, I'm getting various graphics distortion & stretching/elongating in The Gate, like Security monitors & power outlets

Now if I could only figure out how to get Starship Troopers working under eDuke32. <_< Thanks for all the hard work the community has put into all this. Duke3D is one of my all-time favorite games, having played the shareware version so many years ago. It's a blast coming back to this with all the new eye candy.

the blood flickering problem only seems to occur with the WMD mod, I think, with polymer off.

As I remember DukeZone! 2 is a collection of maps and has a launcher. You can take user.con and create new episodes with DukeZone! 2 maps.

It also has 2 new enemies aswell, some Grey Troopers and the Organtic Turret, I will take another look when I get a chance after school

if I have time in the weekend, I might take a look (I have to find my cd), and maybe I could make a pack for use in eduke32.

And The Organic and The New Enemy is in the gate and not dukezone, I got kinda mixed up

Just wanted to update my own post about the graphics distortion I get with The Gate. Apparently it's not even an eDuke32 or HRP issue, or even a setting. I tried running the actual thegate.bat file under DOSBox which of course renders itb only in software mode, and the weird visual anomalies STILL exists. It's a problem with the mod itself. Unfortunately, I really wanted to play this under all the eye candy glory of eDuke32 & HRP, but I can't get past bugs like this.

Now I remembered for DukeZone 2 there is a HRP/con patch. I don't remember who created it. I also have fixed it to run in latest eduke32 builds (I was asked to fix it by a friend). I forgot about that.
