Texture/Model issue with eduke32  "ATI x1600"

#1

Hi, I recently installed eduke3d (latest version) and with HRP my duke3d looks like this.

I updated my drivers and directx (which probably wont help since this is openGL). I messed around with all the settings such as texture compression, deleting texture.cache + texture, and turning polymer on and off. Oddly enough, turning polymer on makes my game run normal except its very slow. Only software mode removes the odd glitched graphics.

My eduke.log did show two warnings about GAME.CON 3968 and 5891 relating to an if else statement. (which probably has nothing to do with texture).

I have an ATI X1600 mobility card.

BTW you are suppose to see Duke's ride crashing down and, on the first picture, the explosive barrels looks all messed up.

Wow it totally worked. You are crazy awesome.

I am not exactly sure what happened, if this was a command I did not see in the documentation please let me know.

What happened is the ATI R520 (X1x00 and whatnot) apparently sucks. <_< I've added detection for these cards and automatic forcing of r_vbos to 0 for future versions.
