  1. Lets rate the game here!

Tired of bullshit reviews and ratings..
It will be interesting to see how we true Duke fans rate the game.
  2. How to get nice visual experience from PC version.

    11 June 2011 - 08:55 AM

At first I was disappointed by the graphics, esspecialy since I have top of the line PC, and with all the video options in DNF checked to ultra and max.
What annoyed me the most was the blurry graphics especially when you zoom (RMB), I experimented a little bit and when I turned off the post video effects which can be found in advanced video options, suddenly all looked much better. So I recommend it to everyone.

Still have not finished the game(taking my time) but here are my impressions:

    PROS:
-IT's DUKE, and it's exactly how I expected to be.
    -Interactivity
-Fighting scenes, it's hardcore old school, where skill matters.
-Pace of the game, action, puzzles, action, relaxation, action, puzzles....
-On the contrary to some reviewers, the puzzles IMO are better than those in HL
-Single Player campaign, I played it for 5+ hours and I'm at the burger level atm, I'm total enjoying it.

    CONS: (sort of)
-Only around 70@ percent of the textures are updated with newer higher-resolution ones.
-Some scripts start on places where they should not.
-I think they should wait a little more for release and polish the game a little bit more.
-There should be more options in customization menu.
-They should put some animations between levels, for continuity sake.
    -Two weapon system sucks.

For the end, to all small dick no-vertebrae haters (like the as-hole from IGN) I can say GO FUCK YOUR SELF.
The game is no more linear than the popular FPS games, and IMO it's much better, you have to kill enemies to progress instead of reaching a point of the map where the next script starts (COD anyone).
