  1. Control settings

    08 December 2018 - 01:36 AM

Using the latest version of EDuke32 (20181207-7242).

Default settings has rctrl as "fire". I always use left mouse as "fire" and rctrl as "mighty boot". Changing this in the control settings works, but everytime I quit the game and start it up, the game returns to the default setting and rctrl will cause Duke to both fire and use the mighty boot.
  2. Mirrors - Polymer

    07 March 2018 - 01:14 PM

As written in the description: I get no Duke reflection in polymer (see screenshot). Classic and polymost are fine.

    I'm using build "eduke32_win64_20180307-6735.7z".

Sorry if this problem has already been notified.
  3. Widescreen patch + PSX Music

    08 August 2017 - 01:51 PM

So I'm trying to use both the widescreen weapon patch and the PSX Music pack from Hendricks266 website, but I can't get them to work simultaneously. I put them both (zipped) in the autoload folder but I only hear the PSX music and don't get the widescreen weapons. They do however work separately.

I assume this has something to do with the fact that both zips contain a "duke3d.def" file...

Can anyone help me with this issue?

    Thanks in advance !
  4. Duke Nukem 3D - Stadium

    26 July 2017 - 07:12 AM

Okay, just found out a small thing that keeps bothering me.

In the PC version of Duke Nukem 3D (both 1.3d and atomic), the seats in the Stadium map are flat. I always found this a bit of lazy design as it would look better with slopes. The PSX version "corrected" this and made slopes (bleachers). The N64 version also modified it to a more complete stadium.

Now as I'm reading the official "Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition Strategies and Secrets" guide by Jonathan Mendoza for the PC version, I was baffled to see 2 screenshots of the PC stadium map with bleachers / slopes. And moreover, in the guide, he explains to use these as cover strategy:

"if you manage to climb as high as you can in the bleachers, you will also have succeeded in severly limiting the Emperor's range".

So am I missing here something? Are there more versions of this map?
