  1. In Topic: Physical Duke Nukem collection question

Ebay and Amazon are indeed the best two options, but some of us have extra copies in our collections as well. I myself have some spares as I've just finished collecting every single duke nukem 3d game in the original box, and when I picked up some sealed or in better conditions than previous copies I was left with spares, I'd be willing to sell or trade the leftovers if you want them, lemme see what I have here...

Duke Assault (Complete in box, minor crushing on back.)
Duke it out in DC (Box + CD, no inserts, some box wear and tear, but in one piece.)
Duke Zone II (Complete in box, minor box wear/creasing but good condition.)
Duke Nukem 3D (Sealed in box, perfect condition)
Duke Nukem 3D (Complete in box, excellent condition)

Assorted disks in jewel cases. And also every single resarus duke nukem action figure, open and unopened.

I'm still hunting down sealed copies of several duke games myself, but not in any rush since my collection is complete with at least complete in box copies of everything, and even have the rare duke sculpture signed by the entire development team now. Actually kinda sad that there is nothing really left for me to collect. :(

IMO Zero Hour on emulator with mouse+keyboard plays better than with a controller. Can't say the same for Time To Kill though, but that game never played that well to begin with.

Yeah zero hour worked great with mouse+keyboard, largely due to it being N64 with just one joystick, but I admit you do need a ps2 style controller for ps1-ps2 games. But you can buy adapters for converting any controller to USB for the pc, I have a snes/sega genesis/ps2 adapter for emulating games. Sadly I lost my N64 and nearly 60 games when I loaned them to a friend for a week when I was a kid, and his house burned down. :(

Managed to just nab a sealed copy of the original dukezone off ebay, so scratch that from my "looking for" list. I did see a sealed copy (but badly crushed box) of kill-a-ton on ebay, but the guy wants $350 for it, and thats a bit too steep for even a flawless sealed copy. (I'd probably pay $200-250 for it at most.)

Sure wish I had finished my collection back when I was 16-20 years old, back then you could buy sealed copies of everything off amazon directly for $10-20 each. (I remember picking up east meets west new at a electronics boutique for $10.) I also recently decided to grab all my favorite SNES games from my childhood, and holy crap, those have tripled in value in just the past 5 years alone.

...Megaton box? Perhaps you mean Kill-A-Ton

Yes, thanks, been talking too much about the steam megaton edition lately, got me all mixed up. :) (The past 52hours without sleep doesn't aid my cognitive abilities either.)

This is two things I do want! It looked like Interceptor was going to do Time To Kill before the lawsuit so hopefully Gearbox looks at it and Zero Hour

Eh, both work flawlessly on a emulator even on a very old pc. But it wouldn't be a bad thing to get an official port.
