    Lime. Bird. You see them everywhere on the streets now. Are they here forever? Will we continue to see them into our old age? Will they outlive us all, filling rivers and crowding street corners, remaining the eyesore that they are? Remember when trends used to be trends and go away eventually? The internet and social media perpetuates "innovation" now. What shouldn't exist ends up sticking with us forever... and ever... and thus my existential crisis. Thanks.

    This is from 'Garbage Pale Kids' which I happened to stumble across online. The picture reminded me of my 10 year old self playing Duke Nukem 64 for the first time. Thought y'all might get a kick out of it.

  3. Duke Nukem levels in Skate 3

    I'm starting a series of videos recreating Duke Nukem 3D levels in Skate 3's park editor. They star Duke himself and the first two levels I have are Hollywood Holocaust and Raw Meat. They aren't the most skate-able, but I've added new areas and tried to make the best use of what the level editor offered. Hope you all enjoy Duke's one liners and classic sound effects. Used music from Total Meltdown.

    Hollywood Holocaust (exteriors)
    Rooftop, streets, new areas, added a real life L.A. skate park on the other side of the level:

    Raw Meat (added a secret area, drained the fountains and pools):

    I couldn't get the levels 100% correct due to memory limits so they are more of a re-imagining. Let me know if there are any requests and I'll try my best to make them using everything Skate 3 has to offer.

    Apologies in advance for Duke looking slightly like Justin Bieber.

    I've been dying to get this working for my Mac. The sound is also out of sync. I've fiddled with sixtyforce's configurations but haven't had any luck. Any thoughts? System specs: OS X 10.8.4 Retina. Intel HD Graphics 4000 512 MB graphics. Thanks!

  5. Multiplayer map question

    I noticed the Vegas Ruins multiplayer map in DNF is set at night. Since most of the early screenshots and footage of DNF showed Vegas at night it made me wonder; is it possible some of the multiplayer maps were originally part of the campaign, or were they made specifically for multiplayer? Also noting the more old school level design, alternative passages, and nooks. Some of them seem perfectly laid out for something more detailed to be in place, rather than combat alone.
