    New bowling bomb behavior makes them feel somewhat unreliable. Being able to toss them quickly and being confident they'd home in on an enemy was a treat. Now it feels like a wild card as to whether they'll just bounce around or actually seek out an enemy.

    Ion Bow is cool as shit though! Loved the new level. IM's gonna be one of the best games of the year if the preview campaign is any indication of overall quality.

    Not the biggest fan of the smooth shotgun animation. Being the only weapon animated as such I feel like it stands out, and the frames don't feel like they align or are centered on the screen properly, so each time Duke pumps another shell the sprites feel like they jump around erratically. That's pretty much my biggest gripe though.

    How would I go about adding unique item pickup sounds? You know, giving health their own sound, ammo, etc. I'm assuming it's somewhat similar to ZDoom, where you define a new set of sounds, then tell the pickup event to play the sound. I'm just not sure where to begin.

    Oh neat, I was under the impression that Crisis in Columbia was made specifically for the preview campaign, but that's cool we'll get to play through them again in a way in the final game. Dope!

    Gotta question! The blurb on the Steam page says "7 exciting zones." Are the zones going to act similarly to episodes in Duke? I thought as much since the preview campaign is called Crisis In Columbia. Was just curious. Also, I had a suggestion for sound effects. The shotgun pump seems to get used a LOT. The aforementioned pump, reloading the SMG, and some of the grunts load their guns before letting off a volley, including when you pick up SMG ammo. It's not itself a problem, but it does mean that you end up hearing that same sound a lot more than some of the others. Definitely suggest giving the smg reload its own unique sound!
