  1. A few questions on Lameduke TC's

    Hello all, I don't mean to get on a touchy subject, but I can't help but to ask about Lameduke type modifications.

    I have seen a few projects being started in the past to make Lameduke TC's for Duke Nukem AE on Eduke32. But all has been abandon due to copy-right BS that 3DRealms has been exercising over invalid reasons. Especially after it's been released as freeware. Would it be even possible to have another TC project of Lameduke without problems with the developers? The reason I ask this is because I might have heard that Lameduke's story is a direct pickup where Duke Nukem 2 left off. I'm not sure if I can confirm this, but it was conceptual design before the final version. A kind of history I want to see brought to a modern engine.

    So, is it possible to have another TC project of Lameduke? Or are people going to shoot it down? I haven't found much information but just abandoned project threads, and early betas of other Lameduke projects not posted on this site. I don't mean for touchy subjects, I just need answers especially since it's been a while since the last project and circumstances have changed since then. (I think of it as touchy because it was somewhat abandoned during early stages, some claim it's copy-right issues, others claim its life, but some might not be giving the full story.)

  2. Most moddable Game?

    I'm not sure if I seen anything with as many mods as the Doom series had. Does anyone know a game that is so modable it screams with sites of hundreds of mods made for it? It's been a rather difficult question to answer lately as I don't believe that Doom is really at the top of the list.

    Mods to me count as: Level addons and new maps, new stuff like weapons, and items (Replacement or addon), engine overhauls (To me, Eduke32 counts as some kind of modification. Enhanced Game Engines usually tend to host new modifications and all others to develop for say as the original engines could not support them.), gameplay changes, and making a whole name game all-together, and Total Conversions.

    So yeah.

    Alright, just for starters, I'm not using the Polymer system, and I'm just running Eduke32 in full-screen with the Attrition Mod.

    And here I am trapped in "The Abyss" level, and it's too dark to see, Ambient lighting settings and night vision I've tried don't seem to be working at all. No matter how much brightness I add, its just a pitch black room at some part of the map.

    I don't know what to, I can't even finish the level because I feel like a blind guy searching for his cane now.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    This is an Eduke32 question. (Possibly the latest version)

    Why am I seeing backwards text on security monitors and screwed up textures in two mods like Duke Plus and Attrition?

    I was playing one or the other when I ran across multiple times to find the text on monitor displays to be reversed or just downright screwed up. I'm not sure about the reversed text, I don't know if that's apart of the mod-level's scheme or is it just an error with the engine itself? I can't really tell..

    This isn't much of problem for me, just curious.
