  1. Beyond the Grave Wolf4SDL Mod RELEASED

    01 November 2017 - 12:11 AM

After many years and many struggles, Beyond the Grave Version 1.00 is finally complete. Beyond the Grave is a Wolfenstein 3D/Doom based total conversion set in the late 19th century. You play as Sartana, a highly decorated ex-Union soldier and a feared Bounty Hunter, who was left for dead but returned as something otherworldly. Sartana will stop at nothing to get his revenge and discover his true purpose.

Some of the game's features include:

    - High Res Graphics

    - High Quality Sound & Music

    - 20 highly detailed levels with map sizes ranging from 64x64 - 128x128

    - 10 different weapons with primary and secondary attacks (that work like in Blood)

    - Inventory Items

    - A diverse range of enemies with improved AI

    A ThunderEnema production.

Credits list in the menu. Just unzip and run the exe. Read the “Read This” section for game manual, which includes controls, story, etc. The game uses WASD and mouse but you can configure the controls to the keyboard only setup as well as manipulate the mouse speed and button layouts.

    (Will be on Moddb soon).
  2. Pig Cop Discussion

    14 April 2017 - 09:26 PM

Do you think it's like a wolf-man transformation, or do you think they're experimented on and shaped into them?

Also, do you think the pig cops are just being used by the aliens, or do you think they have been "converted" to think like the aliens? I feel like they have the intention of killing of human males and enslaving women, but I feel like had the game had infighting, the pig cop's might've also been hostile to the aliens if they somehow can remember their human self.

Do you think they are sort of mindless zombies with brute strength or do you think the retain the abilities to enforce laws (of the aliens) and if the hunt for Duke remained on Earth the entire time, throughout the world, do you think the Pig Cops would result to more extreme measures like using more police tactics to defeat Duke? I mean, they have RPVs, and then later they have the Armored Tanks. They also set traps on Duke, like real police do on criminals.

I think it's also possible the Pig Cops are their own army, because in every Duke game pretty much, they are there, even when the other aliens are mostly replaced. Maybe after DN3D, the ones that remained still enforce the rules against Duke, and just work alongside anyone against him as well,

I'm just looking for general ideas. What have you always thought since playing?
  3. Episodes

    07 January 2017 - 05:08 PM

Does anyone have any episode sets (ex.Duke Hard) that don't have any changes to art/sound/code/etc. that they'd recommend?
  4. Different versions of Duke

    23 March 2016 - 09:42 PM

You know how with comic books, like for example, Batman, has a shitload of different versions of Batman from different realities?

I always wondered if Duke could get something like that. Kind of like DN64 did with the different weapons and dialogue, but maybe it could be taken a bit further.
  5. Duke Nukem Websites

    02 June 2015 - 03:01 PM

I have found some Duke Nukem PSX reviews (for TM, TTK, and LOTB) from sites that I've never heard of before and all seem to be pretty old too:

    http://www.mastergam...m/dukeland.html
http://www.game-rave...psx_duke_nukem/ (this one has some really cool shots of DNTM)
    http://www.absolute-...view/rduke2.htm

    And one for DNZH:
    http://www.cheatcc.c...4/vs_dnzhr.html

That got me thinking, maybe many of you have found random Duke sites before that have cool images/old information in them, that you'd be willing to share the links to in this thread?
