    This is great news! Build 2 is certainly a unique engine, and it'd be interesting to see if anyone does anything substantial with it. I also wonder if it's possible to adapt any of the smaller features to eduke32, such as arbitrarily rotating textures on walls and ceilings/floors, and scaling ceiling/floor textures. Having something like a 'second wall' in addition to a sector's first wall would greatly increase terrain capability, flexibility, speed of construction, and reduce the number of walls required. However, I expect that these features are too difficult to implement, otherwise they might have been done already. Either that, or they may have a big impact on performance.

    In the meantime, the AMC TC is being ported over to Build 2, which will be used for all future development. Stay tuned!

    Imperium and Dukeplus make additional sprite platforms appear with the night vision goggles, they donít take platforms away.

    Iíve never been a big fan of tricky platforming, including having to press a button mid-jump like this. Iím sure some people are though.

    Oh yeah I forgot about the deluxe situation. I guess that sort of is a demo, in that you only get the initial early access campaign, not the heskel house of horrors nor the full version on release. Not sure whether you get maintenance updates or not.

    Congrats on "Mapper of the Month" over at Scent-88! A well overdue accolade. All the best going forward, I miss our 24 hr. mapping sessions thanks to the timezone offset we made some stellar mapping progress! Take care!

    I don't even know how to place polymer lights or how to scale/rotate sectors. Or create a text by actually typing and now placing sprites. Never used these features.

    Yeah I know about Marathon for iPad.. you can even buy a HRP for it on there. I don't have an iPad though so I just play Marathon via Aleph One and with the XBLA HRP I got at the pfhorums it looks very good. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/28944/marathonxbla.jpg

    Oh, that's very nice. I might be needing 4 sectors stacked with very simple architecture and I wasn't sure if it was possible. Need to download some test map to see how I should proceed.
