By the looks of it, theyíre going to have 7 zones, where each zone has a distinct overall theme. Judging by the preview, each zone will have levels, such as how the elevator transitioned to the basement area, and each level could be split into multiple maps for the purpose of getting around the wall limit.

However, even within the first level there was some variety in terms of a GDF base, an outdoor area and an office.

    replace the sleeve bearing
or get a syringe, fill it sewing machine oil, & inject it into the fan bearing - rotor arm gap

Thanks Forge, it's now running buttery smooth! I didn't use a syringe; rather just put a few drops on top and let gravity do the work.

Hopefully it'll last me 2-5 more years.

My computer's power supply fan has become quite noisy. The odd thing is that it starts making the noise pretty much as soon as I switch the computer on, before it has a chance to warm up. Is there an easy way to fix this? I've tried cleaning it but the issue persists.

Good old Polymost. Hopefully we will have rewritten a good part of the GL code for the full version.

And you all thought I was crazy for 3DR paying to have the renderer improved Posted Image Although I assume Fox is referring to Polymost here instead of Polymer.

I think it's remarkable you were able to pull off these kinda maps with Polymost. They also look a lot better than I would have expected with that renderer.

Can you elaborate? Did you think classic would do a better job for example?

The different blending modes, particularly alpha blending, go a long way to making the visuals more colourful and interesting.

I wasnít around at the time so canít really say, but Iíd guess that itís a combination of good will to the fans, and having the life of the game be extended due to fans working to make the games run on modern operating systems.

These days though, those reasons are less of a priority for companies. Games will run on future operating systems for quite a while, and companies would rather you forget old games and buy new games instead.

In Bloodís case, it may be that they donít want to go through the effort of drawing up a licence? Itís not a lot of effort I imagine, but considering theyíll get very little if anything out of it, the effort becomes significant.

Congrats on "Mapper of the Month" over at Scent-88! A well overdue accolade. All the best going forward, I miss our 24 hr. mapping sessions thanks to the timezone offset we made some stellar mapping progress! Take care!

I don't even know how to place polymer lights or how to scale/rotate sectors. Or create a text by actually typing and now placing sprites. Never used these features.

I'm not good at mapping. Besides I did not keep up with the recent additions like TROR.

Oh, that's very nice. I might be needing 4 sectors stacked with very simple architecture and I wasn't sure if it was possible. Need to download some test map to see how I should proceed.
