Until now, I haven't received word regarding my beta tester application. I guess they have their tester group compiled already or it's not decided before next year?

Is this to do with Bombshell Delux edition? I recall TX saying on Twitter that if you can present him with proof that you bought the game before Interceptor went belly-up then he'll give you beta access.

Yikes, are they ever going to stop making them?

Thanks for the advice everyone. I tried a few more things, but in the end I decided to bite the bullet and spend about 2 hours or so simply going through the pages and manually downloading files. I have pretty much everything I need now. Fortunately I've tutored such a range of courses that I have access to a lot of content on the new system anyway.

No luck with wget Posted Image

It seems to download a page which asks for a username and password and that's it. I've tried a few different methods of passing the username and password to wget but none of it seems to be working.

    Try wget --mirror.

Sounds like it could be useful. I'll get back to you in a few hours. Only issue is that the site also has many videos on it which I don't need to download. Is there a way of excluding those? So far it looks like the '-R "*.mp4"' might do what I want.

Pretty cold of the university. The couple I attended allow Alumnus to maintain accounts and access new & old material.

Yeah a bit of a shame. I still have access since I'm still working at the University, however they moved over to a new online system a few years ago and are getting rid of the old one which has most of my older files. So I'm lucky I had access this long.

Congrats on "Mapper of the Month" over at Scent-88! A well overdue accolade. All the best going forward, I miss our 24 hr. mapping sessions thanks to the timezone offset we made some stellar mapping progress! Take care!

I don't even know how to place polymer lights or how to scale/rotate sectors. Or create a text by actually typing and now placing sprites. Never used these features.

I'm not good at mapping. Besides I did not keep up with the recent additions like TROR.

Yeah I know about Marathon for iPad.. you can even buy a HRP for it on there. I don't have an iPad though so I just play Marathon via Aleph One and with the XBLA HRP I got at the pfhorums it looks very good. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/28944/marathonxbla.jpg

Oh, that's very nice. I might be needing 4 sectors stacked with very simple architecture and I wasn't sure if it was possible. Need to download some test map to see how I should proceed.
